Surprisingly Indian restaurant , actually the Maharashtrian (state in India) menu. Authentic food and very good ambience. If you are in Bristol then one must visit this restaurant to enjoy the true Indian cuisine. Must say we were served very well by owner Sujit. 😄

We'd just flown in to Bristol, taken the airport bus into town, and checked into our hotel. We went out in search of a curry 🍛 place and spotted this one after a short five-six minutes walk. It ticks all the boxes 📦 for me - onion bhajis, variety of naans, traditional curries. 😋 The cocktail 🍸 options were a little limited, but service was fast and friendly.

Holy moly this food is insane! Incredible flavours that will stick with you for hours after. Great prices for both food and drinks and excellent customer service. Found my new local curry house! I'd recommend the share plates for both starters and mains if you're coming with one person. FLAVOURS!

There were 5 of us in out party & we were given a warm welcome & seated quickly. Service was excellent & the food was super tasty & probably one of the best Indian meals we have had & we have had alot around the world. The Tikka flame is situated by the big wheel in Bristol & you can be seated inside or outside.

10/10 for food and service. Highly recommend this place! What a find and what a pleasant surprise. Me and my mrs, walking through town looking online for the best curry houses in Bristol city centre and 20 feet from us is this place… we couldn’t of been happier. Took a chance by not checking reviews or even the menu. The moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was busy and had a real buzz to it. Authentic feeling with a modern touch decor wise. Food was delivered within a decent time frame given how busy it was but we drank most of a gorgeous bottle of Malbec while we waited with popadoms and dips. The food…. Sensational. Sorry but it really was! We’ve visited India 4 times and travelled it for months on 2 of those visits and trust me, the food in this restaurant is THAT GOOD it took us straight back to that wonderfully country within the first bite. Neither of us could fault anything from on the plate 👌🏾. Definitely going back when In Bristol next 100%. Thank you to the staff 🙏🏿 we even had to tell the chefs personally at the end how good it was haha!

An amazing meal at Tilka flame. Great welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The seating is cosy and decor is amazing. Plenty of time given to look at the menu, didn't feel rushed at all. Had the tikka masala with pilau rice. Looked great and tasted wonderful. The garlic naan bread was light and fluffy. Would definitely recommend eating here

Went for a curry today for an unusual early time of 1pm..normally something we'd eat later in the day. Must say it was an enjoyable and tasty experience. Service was great and food was top notch. My wife had chicken jalfrezi, I had lamb chilli masala, we had sides of onion bhaji, garlic rice, chilli-garlic nan and a chapati. Washed down with a cobra and a bottle of malbec 🍺🍷 What a thoroughly lovely couple of hours on Bristol Harbourside in the October sun🌞 Thank you to our server and the chef and his team. Will be returning for sure 👍

An amazing meal at Tilka flame yet again. Welcomed in by the friendly staff. The seating is cosy and decor is amazing. I sat on the cushioned bench seat. Plenty of time given to look at the menu, during the time we had some poppadoms and dip tray. Our order was taken, to which the waiter remembered the whole order in his head. Amazing. I had the BBQ prawns which were so meaty and tasty. The samosas were also very tasty. The salad on the side very refreshing. For mains, the tklka masala with garlic rice. Great presentation and so flavourful. I couldmt fault any of it accept being very full by the end of the meal. My mum had a Jalfraze which she again couldnt fault. The naan bread was also so light and fluffy. It was all so fresh and tasty and you could smell it being cookee which was amazing. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Its our second visit and will be coming again.
