I came here for breakfast, it was busy but there was a few tables available. the service was fast, I was quickly served and staff were friendly and welcoming. Sat down and my order was brought to me fairly quick after ordering. The tables were not sticky which was good. Food arrived fast and it was well presented and good temperature. Staff were tentative to customers and cleared tables after customers left with impressive speed. The staff on shift clearly worked well together and worked well as a team.

It’s a spoons. It’s everything you expect. I’m a very simple minded man so I’m more than happy with the quality of commercial rooms. Cheap pints, cheap food, what more could I ask for. Some call it ‘commercial rooms’, I call it my oasis. The atmosphere is pretty nice on Friday and Saturday nights as well as everyone is enjoying their cheap pints. Toilets are stanking and not appealing most of the time but like I said, it’s spoons, we’re not here to professionally critique the place, we just want cheap food and cheap pints. Very nice.

Not a bad Wetherspoons for drink but the food why did they always serve the breakfast lukewarm ?I have been to many ‘spoons and they are always the same. Saying that a great pub beautifully restored. Great beer and friendly staff though just please sort out the cold food issues.

It's was great! I like eating in spoons and this one is great. I order food it arrived fast, food was delicious. Waiter was nice and polite, ask if food was fine. I'm happy to eat there in the future.

Called in at 9am for a quick breakfast with my husband before a 10am meeting Food very good and reasonably priced. Free top up of hot drinks which were very good. It was very quiet so atmosphere not too great. Staff attentive a pleasant. Typical Wetherspoons with mix of different types of people. Groups of men drinking alcohol at 9am (not judging), families with small children, builders, couples etc.

Beautiful building. I don't know what has happened to my other photos. Service was slack, bar staff unhelpful. Free WiFi and electric to charge your phone.

Came for a quick and cheap breakfast, and that is pretty much what I got...but in a good way! The traditional breakfast now doesn't come with grilled tomato or black pudding, which is disappointing, but mine was fine (apart from the overcooked egg). Self service unlimited hot drinks were available and did the trick. Service was quick and friendly despite it being very quiet in the pub.

Reasonablely priced and delicious food but spicy level is very mild for me but overall food is really good. You can either order from phone and mention the table number (written or the corner) or order at the bar. All the condiments are available to grab from near the bar.

The food was nice althoughexpensive. I ordered salad, and it cost £8.50. There were more sald leaves on my plate than anything else.

A very busy bar with an exciting buz about it. The bar is set in a beautiful building retaining historic features. Well done Wetherspoons for that. Tried to order curry using the App. Out of stock, but other people who went to the bar got their curry. The 3 for £12.50 chicken deal was nice,

Great location, right in the middle of Bristol, great food as always as a Wetherspoons. Gents toilets are closed temporarily (urinals still in operation though). Lovely looking building and the inside is beautiful. Great atmosphere, would recommend! We went on a Monday around 11am and it wasn't too crowded at all, plenty of seats available and food took less than 10mins to arrive. (The attached photos were taken on the street just outside the building)

This pub is in a really impressive building I love how so much of the original features have remained like some gas lights there is the main hall area and 2 more smaller dining areas which is nice as they are a bit quieter. I really enjoyed the food the service was fast the person who served me seemed friendly and helpful. I have been passing this place a few times and never realised what it was until I searched online for a wetherspoon and this one came up. The times I had gone past there was no seating outside as the weather had been bad so there was nothing that really stood out to say it was a wetherspoon pub but now there is seating outside they have wetherspoon fencing around the seating which gives it away more that it's a wetherspoon. It's great that they haven't Done anything like a Singh across the front of the building as it's an impressive building but maybe something a bit more to indicate what the place is. This wetherspoon pub really is worth a visit I hope to go back again soon.

Our family loves breakfast so much here as many options and very nice breakfast. My kids love harsh brown and pancakes so much here. We also loves their fish and chips, burgers for lunch. Price is unbeatable.
