We went here on a Saturday night while working in Bristol and had tried 5 other places and not managing to get in.
We were welcomed in and they made us a table despite them being busy.
Service was attentive and friendly, food was really good, in fact so good we returned on the Sunday night and ate again with an equally enjoyable evening.
If you like pizza with a twist then I can't recommend it enough.
Food was very delicious, a nice pizza with a Blue corn gluten free base.made with good quality and generous ingredients.
Atmosphere on Sunday evening was chilled out and allowed us eating peacefully.
We received also a little free taste of some croquettes with a lovely peppery/oniony sauce!
For dessert (Nutella tiramisu) not 5 stars because didn't like too much the presentation, but it tasted good.
Our waitress Kelly, was very knowledgeable and friendly and with a positive happy attitude. There was another waiter and he was very supportive, attentive and friendly too. Both reflected the Italian skill of being welcoming and good hosts.
Overall I will be happy to come back again, definitely the best pizza in city centre /harbourside.
I went for dinner with a few friends of mine (a group of really peaky people, food-wise)
we were all Italians so we knew how Italian food is supposed to taste. we were ready for a genuine comparison ;) We had a starter wich it was an outstanding tagliere with lots of cured meats, different types of cheeses to accompany with the palatable jams and deliciously mix of veggies, full of flavours and really generous! Then we tried the Pappardelle with homemade sausage and porcini mushrooms (the pappardelle are made by using fresh homemade egg pasta), and guys... it was at this moment that we noticed who we were dealing with...EXTREMELY TASTY! can't really find any better adjective.
after that we got a pizza each and also that was really really tasty, from the dough to the ingredient, just top quality!
We concluded the splendid dinner with ''The'' homemade Sicilian Cannolo, one traditional ''classy'' tiramisù and an amazing ''Delizia al Limone'' dessert and four shots of nectareous Italian liquor!
It was an amazing experience in this fantastic atmosphere, the service was absolutely professional and super friendly.
best Italian restaurant in Bristol.
Amazing place. Highly recommended. Fantastic gluten free options for a sensitive coeliac of different pizza bases, all made in-house. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely my favourite restaurant to visit when in Bristol. Please try it x
Finally in Bristol I ate THE REAL ITALIAN PIZZA. Very nice place, clean and super friendly and helpful staff. All perfect. Recommended
Fantastic place!
I went there to celebrate my friend Birthday and it was a great decision. The waiting staff was fantastic, so helpful, friendly. They entertained us all evening. A big thank you to Omar he was absolutely brilliant. And the food was amazing!!! We will be back soon for sure! 😉
Amazing selection of pizza. You can choose the style of dough and toppings, with loads of choice for vegans and gluten-frees.
UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD.
I have had a lot of pizza, and I'm a big fan, however the pizza here at Doughs has topped my list easily! What makes this place even more outstanding was the VERY REASONABLE PRICES to match.
I had the meaty feast, and my friend had the pepperoni, and we got a garlic bread with mozzarella to share. All were spectacular, and we finished with only one piece to spare (you could share the garlic bread side with 3/4 people, rather than 2).
If you're thinking of coming here, or can't pick anywhere: here is the place to go.
Best pizza in Bristol, the base was amazing, just the right amount of toppings, and the staff were still the best part of the experience. I'd rate 6 stars if I could, will definitely come back soon!
Very unique pizza menu and lots of delicious bases to choose from. Very friendly staff, Dave was great, we will be back very soon.
