The Knowle - Bristol - Photo album

We didn’t have a reservation but the waitress was kind enough to let us sit at a high top to eat. We had the Sunday roast beef and roast chicken with all the sides. Wow…it was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and very flavorful. The veggies were particularly well seasoned. We then had rhubar
Roast dinner was delicious I had the vegetarian option which was so tasty and my partner had the pork which he said was great. Quick service and very friendly staff. A lovely pub 😊
Popped in here one lunch time for food, the staff were very welcoming. The menu had some great options, I settled on the loaded fries with cheese, jalapenos, sauce, cream and BBQ pulled pork. The food my colleagues had looked great too and we all enjoyed it... Great pub with nice layout inside too,
Another well spent Sunday in another lovely pub on an autumn afternoon. Amazing pub, service is very friendly. The pub was packed so is obviously a popular place. The roast itself was very nice, had the pork belly which was nice and tender, crackling was delicious as well. Special mention to the Yo
Good overall roast dinner, beef was melt in the mouth with nice veggies. My only little niggle was the roast potatoes weren't quite cooked enough and not crispy or fluffy outside. Nice pint of Neckoil and good overall service. Recommended.
The Knowle was an awesome experience, went to meet some friends. First thing we were greeted by friendly staff at the bar who showed us to our table, I'd asked if we could have a table close to the toilet which they were happy to do, although there was a little step into the pub a stick user and whe
This is my favourite pub, menu is seasonal and currently for summer they have pizzas being made in the garden kitchen. Drinks are reasonable, plenty of choice & accept blue light card! Every evening is full, which shows how popular it is.
Lovely dog friendly pub. We came for a Sunday roast and it was tasty. The roast potatoes weren't the best - they were missing the crispiness and fluffy inside, but still enjoyable. Lovely giant Yorkshires! I had the nut roast and a sticky toffee pudding, which was delicious. Books and toys availab
Absolutely incredible service! Staff were all friendly and fun to be around and talk to! Has to be the highest quality food I've ever had too! All in all, best pub experience I've received yet! 100% recommend!
Lovely food. Limited Sunday lunch choices but artfully presented and tastes like it should. Pork or beef roasts are shown in the pictures. Beef shredded in the Yorkshire tasted divine.
We come to The Knowle on a Sunday for the Sunday Lunch Roast. The options we had was beef, turkey and pork belly. We ordered the pork belly, beef and half beef (children's portion) All were delicious and I really enjoyed the selection of vegetables to accompany the roast. We opted for a side of pigs
Great food and service. We visited on a Monday lunch time so the atmosphere was never going to be great as there weren't many people around. It was kinda nice though to be honest. Would definitely recommend. Both kids and adult meals went down well 💜
Drinks are not cheap but the food is good and staff friendly. If you want a table might be wise to book. Wow 😁👴 returned last night, it was fantastic, the staff were so attentive, the manager/ maitre really wants you to enjoy the experience. We had a table at the rear overlooking the east of Bristol
Excellent food, attentive service. Well earned reputation, great community pub. Brilliant for Sunday lunch.
A solid Sunday roast in Bristol. I had the nut roast which had a lot flavour, highlight was the Yorkshire pudding & cauliflower cheese. Make sure you ask for extra gravy as you only get a little. Roasties weren’t that good, a bit hard and not crispy on the outside or fluffy inside.
Don't be shy of paying for quality. What a lovely place for a quality bite to eat and a natter with a decent pint. There's a small but respectful range of quality ales on rotation and a commendable range of gin if that's your poison of choice. The food menu offers a simple choice of fayre and it's
The staff are very friendly, quick service, small menu really tasty. I would recommend the fish and chips or the pork, the burgers looked good too!
Amazing service, great little pub to meet up for food. Lovely views from the beer garden.
