I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful breakfast at Cottage Inn, and I must say, it was an absolute treat! One dish that truly stood out was the smoked mackerel flatbread, and it left me with a lasting impression.
Furthermore, the service at Cottage Inn was exceptional. The staff memb
Exceptional service, staff are so friendly and helpful. We took our dog - he was spoilt rotten! They brought him his own blanket, water and made a huge fuss of him. The nicest service in a pub that we have experienced and it really made the evening lovely. Food and drink were great too - not a massi
We had a delicious Sunday roast with excellent beer. The beer has been very good on my previous two visits this week (Three different beers). The staff were friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. I would have preferred more vegetables with my roast but that's just me!
Very Dog friendly pub. I asked for a table which would be suitable with space for a large dog. This was noted and a table provided saying thought this are would be good. A dog bowl of water was brought to our table as well.
Service was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Food was exc
Wonderful pub! Delicious food and lovely staff. Highly recommended!
Good food but nothing special.
The location and the view is amazing.
The fish and chips were ok but nothing like “the best” like it was written in the menu!
We visited at around 2pm. We received a warm welcome by the member of staff at the bar. There is a limited choice on the menu, which we had checked before we visited. The food arrived in good time, and was of excellent quality. We will definitely be back.
A really busy, sunny evening and the staff were under pressure as both the kitchen and bar were one person down. From our seat I could see them really working hard and pulling together as a team and helping each other out. Given the pressure I thought the service was exemplary with all of them remai
Reserved a lunchtime table for a family meet, worked out really well.
We shared a couple of plates of calamari as a starter, they were very good.
Mains were 3 steak and ale pies, delicious was mentioned, and a burger, also very tasty. Washed down with a couple of bottles of the pinotage.
A great way
Rooms clean and spacious. All Staff very friendly and helpful
The Cottage is a lovely pub! All our food was excellent and really good value. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Super beers and the location is pretty good too! Definitely my favourite Bristol dock-side pub.
Excellent choice of beers, great service and atmosphere! Was a little bit late opening, but manager did a great job and the staff were fabulous considering the circumstances they were under!
As a regular took two friends who were visiting the area. Great location to watch sunset. We had a lovely meal with very attentive staff. Food catered for gluten fee options. A bonus was a 25% discount for loyalty members on a Wednesday. Only criticism would be fairly limited choice on menu.
It was a busy, showery evening when we visited, but as we had reserved a table this wasn't a problem. We were served promptly by very friendly staff and the food was very good - we only ate mainly meals as we'd had birthday cake earlier! There was a live singer who was good too, but made it more di
My review is for Cottage’s sister pub the Ostrich which was kindly booked instead for us when at the last minute the Cottage kitchen could not open Hopefully we’ll eat there another time All involved extremely friendly, enjoyed vibe of pub especially the quiz that night; had lots of laughs too Food
spectacular beer battered haddock fish and chips (far more superior than the one at Salt& Malt). Incredible kids cheeseburgers. This place exceeded our expectations. amazing atmosphere inside
We loved it. The food was really tasty, you could tell it had been made in their kitchens with fresh ingredients. The staff were really friendly and looked after us in a very natural way. it was a pleasure.
