Very tasty gluten free pizza and cocktails. Unfortunately regular pizza (not gluten free) was burned. It was totally black on the bottom. We also had to wait a little bit too long for service. Everyone was really nice, but the whole experience was just not perfect ;) not bad, not great. But really recommend gluten-free pizza :)

Taylor was an absolute star, first time in, made us feel right at home. Pizza was out of this world and service was quick. Price was great for the meal too! Thanks Taylor and the team

Fern the server was great, friendly and attentive. The menu is limited. Saying the base of a vegan pizza to be cauliflower one might expect the base to be made out of cauliflower, the "base" they speak of is the sauce? Instead of it being tomato, which to my knowledge is also vegan. Misleading almost to to point of pulling the wool so to speak. A limited but tasty menu. They could invest in some wine glasses, rock glasses feel like drinking out of a beaker. Value for money and good service almost makes amends but not quite.

Amazing stuff and great service. Kids friendly. The pizza was okay. The Burrata and Nauja and Baked Ragu Mozzarella Grana were so delicious. Overall loved this place

Ruined pizza for me really as I'm not sure anywhere else is likely to fare in comparison. There must be some witchcraft to cook the pizza both thin, crispy, with the bread soft, doughy and crusty at the same time. High quality ingredients yet the price is cheaper than most fast food alternatives??? Starters and sharers are generous portions and an experience in themselves. Had to queue for 15 minutes or so on a busy Saturday night but service was still efficient and friendly despite the full capacity. If I can find any fault it's that the pale ale on tap is a bit boring but I'll accept that that's on me really for choosing it. Only lived in Bristol for 2 weeks and have been here twice... Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Took advantage of the £10 lunch offer during half term holidays. Best pizza we’ve had in a long time and service was fantastic. Very highly recommend and brilliant value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Stumbled across this little gem whilst visiting the hippodrome. We were not disappointed wow what a fabulous lunch service was fast and staff helpful and friendly . Beth the manager and hannah the waitress were very helpful bringing us the delicious pizzas prepared by hand fresh to order by the talented chef Nye. Honestly could not fault our food. Will definitely be visiting again soon 5 stars well done guys x

Very good Pizza, excellent service, the only problem, you taste the burning Sourdough, which gives the pizza a bad taste

Lovely place the servers were lovely there was just a bit of a longer wait on being served and getting food. We went in and saw lots of avaliable tables but had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated. The guy was very friendly and the food was delicious though :)

Amazing pizza, some of the best you will ever eat! Cosy place and authentic seeming Italian food and atmosphere ( I’m not Italian so can’t say for sure)

Visited on Saturday evening during half term and it was particularly packed. The manager moved things around and gave us a really nice table. Service was really good and food amazing as usual.

Decent place this. Food was great - starters and pizzas were superb. Service needs to be improved, but when their shortfalls were pointed out the manager gave us complementary drinks which made up for it. The staff were very nice and did well to tolerate my moaning regarding the service. Recommended.

I have been to Franco Manca three times in the last couple of months and I very quickly realised what I had been missing out on. Definitely one of the best pizzas at the cheapest prices that you can get in Bristol with their amazing sourdough pizzas using fresh and high quality ingredients. I've had it both in the restaurant and as takeaway and both have been good experiences. My only criticism would be that when eating in, experiences with the waiting staff have been mixed. While all the staff are very nice, they are not as attentive as they could be and you might have long stretches of time waiting to flag down your wait staff. This seems to be irrespective of how busy the restaurant is or not. However I will definitely be back for some more great pizza!

Pizzas at Franco Manca are very good, and they give you the option to swap the mozzarella for vegan mozzarella which suits customers with dairy intolerance like me very well. Most of all, the service was excellent. I think our dedicated waiter was the manager (the only staff member not wearing a company t-shirt) and what surprised us the most was when he asked upon payment if we were happy with the 10% service charge. Never in any other restaurant was I asked if I was ok with the service charge or wanted to change it. Credit to this gentleman's customer service skills, it made for a fantastic experience there.
