Nova Scotia Hotel - Bristol - Photo album

Loved this place, Sunday roast was so yummy forgot to take picture on arrival ...just dug in 😂 Amazing value for money and staff very friendly. Unfortunately don't live in the area but will deffo be the place I will be going on my next trip to Bristol in Nov. Will be looking to try the week menu as
Food is very nice and very well priced! Plenty of good food and drink. Book for Sunday dinners but during the week generally okay to walk up. Beer garden benches to the front for a lovely waterside pint. Staff are always really nice!
Brilliant. The perfect resting place at the midpoint of the famous Bristol harbourside walk. Sit outside and watch the boats. Escape from the bedlam of the city center. London Pride only £4 a pint, can you believe. Fast friendly service. Really old school. Highly recommended.
This is a great local pub with traditions. It feels like a warm blanket after a bad week. People are wonderful, and you can have a friendly chat with anyone in the pub. They have a good choice of beer and cider and some tasty food.
Popped down for lunch with me mum and had a really nice time! Proper village pub feel right on Bristol harbour. We both really enjoyed our food, the crab salad special was particularly good. VERY reasonably priced and a really good selection of drinks
Good, unpretentious harbourside boozer, good ale, cheap food and maps on the wall are worth having a look at too.
Nautical meets booze in one of the best proper pubs in the west. Why did I go to Clifton to get completely frozen then? Was also tempted by the ambiance of the mardyke but said “No”. I will come direct here next time
Had a few beers and ciders here in the sun! Garden is excellent with nice views of the harbour!
Middling cask offering. London Pride nicely kept, looked like they had run out of the local ale. Friendly crowd in historic building. Outside seating is very pleasant.
consistently great pub. Friendly atmosphere , fantastic traditional cider and a perfect outside area on warm days. I've never eaten there but the food is always popular and often some choices sell our. They even feed the workers on the other side of the Quay.
We have visited this pub several times and have not been disappointed once! The food is excellent and great value for money and the staff are very friendly. It gets very busy and is fairly small and there can be a bit of a wait for food but it is well worth the wait, the door step sandwiches are lar
Awesome local. But I didn't tell you that, else it will be known as one of Bristols best dockside pubs. Hang on, what do you mean it already is?..
The Nova, easy to reach by the Ferry from the City Centre. A pub that hasn't changed much in 20 years and all the better for it. The decor is old world pub. The clientele mainly local and folk who happen in. The beer and cider range is fair and the food good value and farmers portions. Lovely vie
The food is always great not many off this sort of pub left always worth a visit
Cheesy chips to die for! Great pub with lovely beer garden on the docks. Always have at least 1 decent cask beer on. Good prices too.
Fairly quiet for a bank holiday but lovely food and drink & great service.
Nothing flash, just a good old fashioned decent boozer, great location, reasonable prices for Bristol. I'll be coming back for sure.
A very pleasant place for a quick meal freshly prepared.
Great pub by the river only had time for a couple but decent beer and a good ambience with both home and away fans drinking together. Suspect it's even better in the Summer if able to sit outside.
