Bakesmiths - Bristol - Photo album

beautiful cafe with two stories, they are work friendly and have reasonable prices as well! carrot cake (£3.05) was a little too sweet for my preference, but i loved the smooth flat white (£3). they also have plugs and wifi for work, will definitely be back
I think Bakesmiths is great. They do my favorite flat white in Clifton. Great sandwiches and toasties. A nice place to sit. Recommended! If they did coffee beans in bigger bags I'd buy those from here too.
Nice tea and toastie. Not sure why these places that seem to portray themselves as sustainable/green etc serve tea and coffee and milk in disposable cups and use wooden cutlery. OK much better than single use plastic but still single use. Surely its much greener to use cups, cutlery and milk jugs yo
The food here is truly wonderful and the value is seriously impressive. Their tomatoes are a go to Friday lunch for me! The service is always really friendly too! The only issue I have with Bakesmiths is the fact that if you eat in you are served your drinks in disposable cups, it’s really disappoin
come here at least once a month for the unreal toasties on offer. for £5.90, these toasties will cure your hangover or just set you up for a great day. always so much variety (especially if you’re vegan) and they change the options regularly. their sandwiches are also great. coffee is very tasty but
Very good cakes, nice atmosphere, and the prices are great too, 3 cakes for £7..
Had a lovely brunch, we went for the avocado and added the eggs which was a delight! Loved that we could see them being made. Great atmosphere, fairly quiet which was perfect. Think we'll go for the full breakfast next time as that looked fab too. I found that a sharper knife would have been bette
The place has a nice rustic vibe with great tunes playing. Coffees were great, although I felt bad for the environment using a paper cup, even though we stayed in the cafe. Water also came in a plastic cup. The selection of cakes and other food looked excellent. However I have a severe allergy and e
Super friendly services that you can order take-away without walking into the store. They opened a counter on the street! Great place for getting great coffee, definitely coming back for their bakery! Photo featuring Flat White!
Such a great selection of pastries and cakes for breakfast/snacks, and quiches and sandwiches for lunch. Have always walked past this place but never gone in before, I'm glad I did this weekend! Went for breakfast and had the smoothest almond croissant I've tried, a delicious braided cinnamon bun an
Great independent coffee shop in Clifton. The cakes are amazing, coffee is lovely and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Ok seating downstairs, but upstairs have amazing comfy chairs, unfortunately it's not always open. We'll worth a visit if you're in area and have time for a coffee ☕️.
Lovely place with nice vegan options for cakes and toasties & lots of tasty iced teas etc. Would rate 5 stars but unfortunately 50p charge for oat milk:(
Was nice enough coffee and cake. Not a fan of the wooden cutlery etc, just get metal ones and wash them. Same goes for paper cups, get some mugs if people are dining in
I ate a delicious kimchi toastie and coffee. But I didn’t eat the coffee I drank it. I am giving four stars because of the use of disposable boxes and plastic cups. Why ruin a delicious toastie by having to eat it out a box? Not to mention the environmental impact!
Very few people upstairs at the time, seating didn't encourage you to stay for long. But the food downstairs looked delicious.
Just couldn't avoid going in and buying a loaf, the bread looks (and tastes) so good! Stopped for food and enjoyed the coffee and toastie, they got something wrong with my order but were very attentive and gave me cakes in compensation, which were also delicious! Will go again
