So, here we are , a quick 1 night break in super Bristol....which we love! Having "retail therapied " and strolled along the banks of the river we have climbed up the steep hill to our favourite spot.....Clifton. And lo and behold we have stumbled upon the Somerset House....our first visit. Perfect
This place is larger than it looks from the pictures online. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We had 2 great meals. The gluten free burger was safe for a celiac to eat. Waitstaff was very knowledgeable and careful to make it safe. The burger was very good and it was huge. It came with huge portion

I was being incredibly fussy and the staff were being incredibly accommodating even when I was being miserable and dramatic 10 out of 10 service love love love
The BEST veggie roast dinner. Potatoes slapped 🤙 and portions are great value. Coconut mojitos very delicious and coconutty 🌴 Hardworking and really friendly supervisor!

We love Somerset House. The best Sunday roast in Clifton, hands down. Ely always takes care of us with a smile and good humour, even when we bring our own horseradish (which she then keeps for us!).
