Found this place after a Google search šŸ”Ž. Looking for somewhere to eat that wouldn't be a run of the mill pub. We were not disappointed. Staff were very accommodating and attentive. Food was exactly what we were looking for. Bespoke and expertly cooked. Would not hesitate to recommend and would certainly visit again if we were in the Bristol area.

I heard from multiple different people that this is the best roast in Bristol so I had to try it for myself. And it didnā€™t disappoint! I especially liked the small extra touches like the yummy soup and sides. The service was excellent and super friendly. Worth it!

Just been with a bunch of 7 friends for a monthly supper club and could not have been happier. Amazing service, great ambience that was lively but allowed for meaningful conversations and top cod fillet. We will be back šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ˜Žthank you

We had an amazing time at The Malago. Firstly, they are not just dog friendly but dog welcoming. My pup was given some treats and a bowl of water, they are just super considerate. Then there was the food, we got about 8 small plates rather than a main and shared. It was all stunning, really good portions and tasted amazing. The service was also brilliant, very friendly and attentive.

Really solid and decent local restaurant. Great for evenings and lovely atmosphere and morning brunch. (Had both in 24hr hours) a little pricey but decent quality and nice solid place to have social and nice catch ups.

Sunday roast was good and staff were nice but service was slow. It took an hour to get our food for just me and my husband and even when it was less busy our dessert seemed to take a while. Took a full two hours from when we sat down to when we got our bill.

One of the best full English breakfasts in Bristol. The hash brown was a triumph, the smoked bacon and black pudding spot on and the sausage was an absolute banger. The Bloody Mary was also top notch. Great atmosphere in this place for a Sunday morning. How lucky we are.

Tried the Sunday roast at Malago! Itā€™s worth making a reservation before you go! Love the food and the experience there! A must for a Sunday roast! Itā€™s a dog- friendly place as well and the price is reasonable! Along with the roast, we were given carrot soup for starters! šŸ™‚

Lovely food. Especially enjoyable watching the chefs at work, clearly enjoying what they're doing. Excellent breakfast now as well. The best pancakes I've had for a while, they probably don't need to give you so many but that's no rain to complain!

Amazing Sunday Roast with plenty of vegan & vege options. Staff were very accommodating to our party including my dog Sheeba. One of our group had a nut allergy and were very vigilant to ensure the dish was nut free. Definitely returning for more yummy food.

Stopped here for an impromptu roast and genuinely couldnā€™t fault it. The place has a lovely atmosphere and appreciated the extra touches of the soup provided between courses, and the additional gravy for the roast. The staff were on point - meeting eye contact and incredibly friendly but also nailing the service all at the same time. Thank you guys!

I have been here for brunch and a roast before and both were delicious and came out on time. Last night we came here for a family birthday, table booked for 7.30 however didnā€™t get our mains until gone 9 and many others in the restaurant in the same position. The waiting staff were apologetic that they only had one chef on and very friendly, and food was fine when it came (some dishes slightly lukewarm) but it meant those in our party who had travelled from outside of Bristol didnā€™t get home until much later and we were very hungry by the time it arrived. This was my first worse experience though, so will be back, and Wine Wednesdays is a great perk!

Amazing Sunday roasts and a super friendly staff team. Def worth a visit if you're in the Bedminster area. Book well in advance if you're planing on going on a Sunday.
