I had a very pleasant meal here, with two friends. The service was very pleasant, the food was particularly tasty, I can highly recommend the chicken waffles and bacon pancakes looked delicious. I would also recommend trying an oat milk hot chocolate if you get a chance as they are sublime. Overall the visit was very pleasant. I really enjoyed myself and the delicious food set me up for a lovely day exploring Bristol. I cannot recommend this diner enough if you enjoy the aesthetics and food of nostalgia Americana. Thank you

Had breakfast here. Got there by 11.55am and we were still allowed to choose from the breakfast menu. The food was good. I had waffles and chicken with bacon. I don't like syrup but it's supposed to come with it. Also, there were lumps of sugar in the waffles. I think this is something I will never get used to. I don't have a sweet tooth so that threw me off but the chicken and bacon was crispy and nice. I had this with hot chocolate which tasted and looked good My husband had the diner Dreamland burger served with onion rings. It says with chips on the receipt, I honestly just noticed as I'm typing this review. But he was not served any chips. He had his meal with coca cola Overall a good experience. Meal came on time and was hot. Service charge was applied.

Highly recommend reserving a table as it gets very busy, but for good reason! I had the big breakfast and it was excellent, all items were perfectly cooked and the thick bacon was beautiful. The coffee was also great (black americano). The hostess was brilliant as well, she handled the very busy period with grace and professionalism and was so friendly and helpful. Please give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

We stopped by this lovely little diner on our last morning in Bristol, service was great as was the decor (and music). Felt very comfy in the American style booths and enjoyed the atmosphere. Portion sizes were good for the money, if I'm ever back in Bristol I'd happily eat here again

Really lovely and friendly staff, great to see Budvar on tap! I can’t think of anywhere else in Bristol that does. Food was excellent also. No complaints!

If you are after some good American breakfast, Quay St Diner is a solid choice. We had the Fried Chicken Waffles & the Breakfast Waffles - good-sized portions and tasty. The chicken was alright, and there was too much maple syrup on both dishes, but apart from that, really good. Regarding service, we read some recent reviews that the staff's service could be better. Unfortunately, this has not improved. When we arrived, the host was able to seat us quickly and take our order within the first five minutes. We received our drinks almost immediately. However, our food took longer than 40min - funny enough, the kitchen had like five plates lined up ready to be served, but the rest of the staff would seem to be chilling by the bar. After the host started expediting, we finally received our order, including a couple of tables next to us who had been waiting for longer. On top of that, after our meal, we had to wait extra 10 min as we reminded our waiter a couple times for the bill - he acknowledged every single time but would keep manning the tables next to us. But I have to give it to them, all of the staff was friendly at all times. While the diner serves some pretty good food, the service can definitely be improved. They need a more efficient expediting system. So, if you have a craving for American/British diner food & a couple of hours to spare, this is your restaurant.

Great little diner I stumbled upon while llwaiting for my coach to arrive as I was visiting Bristol to see friends. Staff were friendly, the diner had a good atmosphere and the food was pretty tasty overall a good find a shame they only do certain menus at certain time but enjoyed my experience.

American style diner. All items in the veggie breakfast, not sausages, were delicious. Gluten free pancakes/waffles would be an incredible additional to the menu.

Had a burger here which was really tasty with plenty of fries on the side. They had an offer on - two cocktails for £12 so made use of that. Service a bit slow but everything was clean and food nice.

Definitely a hidden Gem. It was our last day in Bristol and I was craving pancakes, did a quick search online and selected this Diner. I must say I enjoyed my meal and the pancakes were delicious. Service was a tad bit slow when it came to the end but we were not rushing anywhere. I definitely say check this place out and there's a cool artwork just right above the diner, so you can take pictures too.

A beautiful spot with a really nice atmosphere in the heart of the city. The food is excellent and really well presented, but beware that the waiters can sometimes take a little longer than expected. This is simply because they are so busy and they put in the effort. The food is worth the wait.

This is a great place to go for a decadent breakfast/brunch/lunch. Their portions are generous and the kids love their pancakes, waffles, and huge milkshakes. They're very, very busy at weekends so booking is recommended, that said we got lucky and bagged a table on a Saturday lunchtime. The staff were busy but friendly and even sorted a late arrival to our group quickly too. Great job.

When you find yourself thinking about their hash brown breakfast stack weeks after you went and it makes you start salivating, it must be good! I wish I lived close enough to eat there more regularly. Fantastic food, friendly staff and excellent selection of drinks too.

Myself and my partner enjoyed the Big Breakfast and Loaded Waffles with two milkshakes (strawberry and mint choc chip). This is our second visit and we both really enjoyed the quality of food and drink. Customer service was very friendly and the food came out quick. The Big Breakfast did have toast but it came out on a separate plate. My Loaded Waffles was described as one large waffle but ended up being two sweet waffles, which I was happy with. Overall, a really pleasant diner experience and I would recommend.

Just a quick breakfast. I had the chicken and waffles which are delicious, but very sweet. 🧇🍗 Very friendly staff and a very funky vibe, with comfortable diner style bench seating.

Amazing little spot. Welcoming, friendly staff. Food was excellent, strongly recommended the American Breakfast. Not “cheap” but you definitely get what you pay for both in terms of quality and quantity. Would recommend to anyone.
