A lovely recent experience at the AGC. I had heard good things from a couple of friends who had visited previously. I've eaten at the main Aqua's many times over the last few years, so I was eager to try their new offering. I was really impressed. The decor is stunning, modern, fresh, and elegant! The bar area is so pretty. It's one of the nicest i've seen in Bristol. My wife and I ordered the steak, lamb, and a few sides. The steak was cooked to perfection and was so tender, whilst the lamb was very generous in size and full of flavour! The honey glazed carrots were a perfect companion along with their greens! We also had a couple of deserts! The apple tarte tatin (delicious) and the passion fruit and pistachio macarons were to die for! This was a delightful meal and the overall service and attention to detail was outstanding.

After being dismally let down by the Spiny Lobster (booking was confirmed but arrived and were told they could not honour it) we walked along the main road, and stumbled across Aqua. So glad we did. Georgia welcomed us without a booking (7 people). Amazing experience. Food was excellent. Cocktails were also great except for the one names "Salty" that one was quite poor. Georgia and Lotty were fantastic and were super attentive to out table. Cannot fault the service we got. My starter was the cheeks. Delicious. Best main out of the lot. The short rib. Whole seabass was a massive winner too! Thank you all very much for rescuing our evening!

A wonderful evening spent here to celebrate 5 graduations! Extraordinarily well looked after by the fantastic Ellie and the rest of the team, nothing was too much for her despite being extremely busy, and her genuine interest and care are rare traits. Food was excellent, and Aqua were very accommodating to different dietary requirements.

Large space with outdoor seating. Complete menu with a variety of food. Professional and polite staff. We had drinks and Burger 🍔. The burger was amazing , really tender, juicy and tasty. Frice it's crispy and fresh. Our puppies was with us and the staff offered us to have water 💦 for her, she had but offering from staff it's so kindly and respectful. Great experience and amazing meals . Extremely recommended .

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS They’re clever at Aqua. Each time I’ve been to their restaurant in Whiteladies Road I’ve loved the consistently good food and the ‘VIP’ service which, disappointingly for me, everyone seems to get; but now I’m impressed with how they maintain their high standards yet have the flexibility to adapt according to popular demand. Back in January this year, as an already well established and popular rendezvous, the venue underwent a tasteful refurbishment with a new identity as a smart French Brasserie offering an ‘haute cuisine’ menu. This was and still is very much welcomed by loyal and appreciative gastronomes but to the delight of many regular customers the management has now re-introduced some of the previous, less exotic, top choices. For example on a hot day a couple of weeks ago a friend and I wanted a quick lunch and managed to book a table under a large parasol on the sun-trap terrace; still in keeping with the French influence I chose Moules Mariniere as a starter; a generous portion of fresh, piping hot, plump mussels covering a divine ‘soup’ of white wine, cream, chopped onion, butter and herbs for just £9.00; for £8.50 my companion had pork belly bites in a sticky barbecue sauce; having pinched a couple of hers to try, when I come again I’m going to have a double portion. There’s a wide range of pizzas, salads, burgers and steaks and a terrific value set lunch at £17.50 which includes mains options of grilled seabass and the ever popular half rotisserie chicken marinated in lemon and herbs with fries. So depending on your mood or the time you have to spare you can have the best of both worlds – you can dine ‘haute cuisine’ or enjoy every day classics - clever – and all bloody delicious (‘scuse my French).

Excellent experience. Was invited for a lunch meal by friends for the first time. Very clean and nicely decorated. Inside dining area with open walls so you are pretty much like sitting outdoors but protected from the uv light or drizzles. There are outdoor tables available as well if that is your preference. The servers are attentative and after orders, it took about 10 min or so to have your food on the table. Tried seafood linguine and that was excellent (you can only describe what you tasted. Everyone would describe things differently, but I can say that it is one of the top ranking Linguine I had thus far). Tried their cheese cake. Flavour is hard to describe but had everything to qualify as one of the best tasting cheese cakes. Overall, would visit again.

We've now been twice to Aqua Grand Cafe and will continue to enjoy this as our number one, go-to Bristol venue for excellent food, plus faultless service. The menu is really interesting and very appealing; the cocktails are executed with expertise in a beautiful space with everything well thought out and delivered with care & attention. Everything is impressive: food, drinks, staff, environment, location. 100% recommend for a really good evening. We will definitely be going again, looking forward to trying breakfasts now we've sampled the evening menu.
