Awesome concept! A menu full of flavoured sausages to choose from, served toad in a whole style or simply with mash. A jug of gravy to yourself and what more do you nerd? Comfortable setting and our server was super friendly. Keep it up!

Everything you could want from a sausage and more! Brief version: Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, dog friendly and amazing food! Long version: We nipped in with our dog, on a Thursday evening for dinner. They had a lovely big table ready for us up front with plenty of space for us and the dog. The sun pouring in through the huge windows. We ordered the sausage tasting platter, highly recommended, it was delicious! The staff where kind enough to explain which sausage was which when they heard us trying and failing to guess! We also had the accompanying salad of the day, a perfect pairing, can’t recommend this place enough!

Great value for money as had 2 courses for £23! The roast dinner was good but potatoes could have been crispier. Also wasn’t a fan of the ribs as they lacked flavour. Service was so friendly and attentive. Loved the sticky toffee pudding!!

Arrived to a lovely waitress that gave us a seat in the bar area that had a lovely atmosphere. Menu had a big selection including different sausages, also a separate specials menu. Ended up having 3 courses and it was DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend and will definitely return. We had our dog with us and all the staff greeted her with enthusiasm ❤️

Lovely spot for lunch or dinner. Great selection of roasts and sausage dinners. Great variety of drink choices too. Service was excellent. Food - Broccoli soup to start (very good). Main: Clifton sausage and ‘champ’ mash. Beautifully presented, although slightly disappointed with the mash (wasn’t quite buttery enough!). Sausages were delicious, gravy was great too but could’ve been richer! Overall we had a lovely meal, and would definitely visit again to try the Sunday roast!

A must visit when in Bristol. The food is delicious and the service is great. Add a Yorkshire pudding and a cider to make the meal complete.

Gorgeous food. The traditional Gloucester Old Spot sausages are tasty, and the sticky toffee pudding was delightfully light. The cider was about as good as it gets. The food was a little late but staff were responsive and helpful.

Hear me out. Get the bread and butter along whichever sausage you want. Cut a small piece of butter and leave it in the gravy. After you had one of the three amazing sausages, get that melty butter and spread over the bread with some salt. Repeat and thank me later.

Yummy sausage and more. We couldn't decide which sausages, so we got the tasting plate containing 4 (one of each type). Great choice. Their #1 dessert (the toffee pudding with butterscotch and vanilla ice cream) will take you straight to heaven ☁️ (or hell 🌋). Cozy atmosphere, kind and friendly staff. Lifetime Travelmates approved! 👍

Great sausage and mash - good sized portions , reasonably priced and friendly staff , drinks prices are good value. Would be good to have more varieties of mash - colcannon / cheddar mash and also a green cabbage option. looking forward to coming back

Visited for the first time Clifton Sausage during a nice evening on a Saturday. We ordered couple of Tasting Plates but also the Special Sausages of the day. Food was tasty and fresh and arrived relevantly quickly. Staff were kind and helped us to choose our meals. Dessert was extremely tasty, make sure you order the Toffee one!

It was a brilliant night of Greek wine tasting. Informative, fun. We tried 7 different wines and had a great story slongside each wine. Just a great night all round. Finding parking was as ever a pain in the neck, but that is entirely out of their hands. I would recommend this place any day of the week.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff that provided a good service. I ordered the tasting plate, which came with 4 large sausages (lamb and mint, beef, traditional pork and the Clifton). The Clifton sausage was definitely my favourite, followed by the lamb. The beef and traditional pork were nice, but lacked the wow factor for me. The gravy was tasty and the mash was lovely and smooth. The service was a little slow, but overall a lovely place to go and eat and good value for money.
