We sat on a table overlooking the river, the views were outstanding! There are colourful houses right opposite the cafe along with docked yachts and boats (Swipe for image ⬅️)

We popped in on the off chance that we might get a table and we were so glad that we did! Their coffee was great and the staff was very friendly 💯
If I visit Bristol again, I'm definitely going back to Riverstation 🤸♀

The best experience in Bristol so far. Lovely location, wonderful service and great food. I'd go back anytime. The view of the river makes the place calm and away from the city rush. A very good selection of wine for all tasted and budgets complement their very well executed menu.
What an amazing luch ! We say that britain cuisine is not very good but I tell you, that you really have to know the right places to eat.
For a starter I got Salt beef with english mustard and wild berries, it was lovely and light. For main course I asked for roasted veal with mashed potatoes, it was really good! The meat was on point, medium rare as I love. For dessert I had a delicious lemon syllabub with wild berries and biscotti.
To eat right in GB you really have to spend money so it was about 40£ per person. Really pricey I know but totally worth it on a special occasion.
I have been in Riverstation a few times now and really enjoy it. They keep on changing the menu regularly to adapt to daily meals and menus and I have to say I really love the concept. The bread is really delicious as well! Had both meat and fish dishes and it never disappoints. Thumbs up for serving local beer as well. Service is always really friendly. The portions are not big, so recommend a starter as well
We came here for Sunday lunch and the food was very good, the dessert was equally as good, the portion seems small at first but it’s actually sized well as otherwise the richness would have been to much. The staff are very polite, kind and willing to help. Special thank you to the lady downstairs who greeted us and complemented my t-shirt, made my day 😊. The view from the balcony is nice and you get to see the boats go past as you enjoy your meal. I recommend coming here.
I came for diner as a group of two and I was seating on table with a marvelling view on the river.
I found that the bread did not taste very fresh, although the butter was tasty and original. The scallops were excellent and tasted fresh as well as the greens. The risotto tasted great, as the feta blended well with the tomato. The chicken did not however met our expectations, where the choice of the seasonal greens was poor (mostly cabbage) and the cooking was not well done.
Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and I found the staff careful and polite.
What a great place to eat - restaurant on 1st floor. Great food, wine, atmosphere and service. Definitely recommend the slow cooked beef ribs - melts in your mouth. Really unusual smoked mackerel- not what I expected but definitely worth trying. Sancerre was a treat to start. Great location - by the river.
In this restaurant you have an amazing view over the beautiful river and you can sit insider our outside. There is also a little terasse on the roof. You have a big variation of different menu’s which are tasty and fresh and you can also choose between many drinks.
It was great!
It was great!
Sometimes you get what you pay for, and this is one of those. Not cheap but an excellent meal in a lovely location. I started with the best mussels I've ever had - plenty of them, good size, and a wonderful harissa glaze. My wife chose the scallops, which were the most expensive starter but beautifully cooked. We both went for trout for main, and shared a dessert. With a nice bottle of Gavi and coffee, it came to £120. Waterside views are picture perfect, so make sure you get a window table.
Hosted a birthday party of 12 people. Very easy to book. Friendly, joyful and attentive staff. Mains menu wasn't that enticing so had several starters...all delicious! Even held onto my presents safely until the next day. A great evening and venue in central Bristol on the Harbourside.
We had a superb lunch here, with a lovely view out over the river. I was looking for a dog friendly restaurant to visit with my disabled mother, and the Riverstation was fantastic. Great communications before hand about our requirements, and they were very accommodating, making sure we got a table accessible without steps. Staff were very friendly and helpful - we were served by Maria who was great. Food was absolutely delicious, and service was speedy which we really appreciated as we had a train to catch. Will definitely visit again when we're in Bristol.
A very nice restaurant and pub close to Bristol harbour. We visited for a team Christmas lunch and the service was great. The tap was broken which wasn't ideal but we did get bottled alcohol and drinks instead. The 3 course food service for c.50 person was pretty intense but the colleages worked fast and we were done within 2 hours. The quality of food was also ok for the price we paid and presentation was good. Recommended for relatively large group events.
Great food, special mention to the mussels, steak frites and shittake mushroom burger. Beautiful views of the river, friendly and helpful staff. Loved it 🥰
It was alright, food was good, staff lovely....for me, i was a little underwhelmed. Maybe I went on an off day?
We had a really nice lunch at the Riverstation made special by our position outside by the river. The food was good if not a little limited on the outside menu. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Our table position was lovely right by the water making a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely food . Great friendly service.

Very pleasant staff, not too close or formal, confident professionals but approachable. My starter, main dish and dessert were well cooked, well portioned, healthy. Original choices and combinations. I'd like to reserve five stars for more complex cooking, however the food was really nice.
Lovely place. My table time was ment to end at 1930 but they let it go over.
Really good food. Amazing for allergies and it shows calories as well.
Didn't look to see if it was disabled access for the restaurant upstairs.
Definitely going to go back in the future.
I LOVE this place. I come from Cardiff especially to come here. This trip I are in the bar and had the mushroom burger, which was a bit tasteless and could have done with a salad garnish but previous bar meals have been very tasty. The staff are friendly helpful and efficient. The views over the river make it very unique and no where matches it for atmosphere
Third time visiting, and this time on a 60th Birthday, and the experience was lovely, as were the first two.
The Food, Service and atmosphere were super, and the setting added its own 5 star aspect.
We have wholeheartedly recommended to family and friends.
