I love this restaurant. We came sunday noon without a booking, the girl who greeted us was kind enough to find us a place even though they were fully booked and she did not frown when we told her we hadn't booked. Food is great here, especially the weekend specials. And they also serve good wine and desserts!
We were out celebrating our anniversary and the whole team made our evening so special with a very kind free drink to celebrate and a 'happy anniversary' little touch added to our dessert. Really made our evening perfect, thank you to the whole team. Also, without a doubt the best espresso martini I have ever had.
This restaurant’s dining atmosphere was surprisingly soothing and the staffs were companionable. I’ve ordered the Tuna Nicoise which’s refreshing and delicious; however, I wish they can go a bit light on the sodium for the salad dressing as it was quite salty. Other than this part, the choice of the ingredients was excellent as the lettuce was crunchy and the tuna steak/ egg was cooked perfectly. Lastly, they will start you up with some warm breads with butter and a plate of olives before you dishes.

Lamb roast was superb as well with a side of roasted veggies
It’s great to have traditional French crepes for dessert as well, I wish there were more varieties though.
Visited for my partners birthday. Service brilliant as was the food and wine. Writing happy birthday on her dessert was a finishing touch.
My fiancé and I had recently got engaged and it was my birthday so went for dinner at Cote. We are Clifton locals and always know we will get fantastic food and wine here. Our waitress Daisy was wonderful, very attentive and friendly.
As expected the food was exceptionally good and we had some great wine. A big thank you to Daisy for making our evening by surprising us with some celebratory puddings!

As always the restaurant was clean and stylish, Stephanie and her team were polite, friendly and met all our needs. The food was delicious, seasoned perfectly, and presented beautifully. They went above and beyond by adding a birthday candle and a message in my father's pudding. A perfect visit and evening, thank you.

Although not a frequent patron, it's very pleasant to be called by one's first name - especially by an employee, I barely recognise. (I never have been very good at remembering people who don't owe me money)
I have been here before with my blonde boss, a frequent patron who is received most graciously. Perhaps the connection to her was the catalyst.
As well as this pleasantry, my stop off for a late impromptu lunch was remarkably agreeable. The French onion soup was very good, but there could have been an improvement with the croutons - a minor matter.
The Seabream that followed, however, was superb. Compliments to the chef. All this washed down with a large glass of very acceptable Muscadet.
Service was gracious, I complimented Louise W on an excellent presentation of 'l'addition' - An observation on this last item. I really do prefer to leave the 'ServiceCharge' or the tip as I would rather call it, at my own discretion, rather than an arbitrary imposition - however, it does declare that these are indeed emoluments for the staff, which is reassuring.
Overall, it was a very pleasant lunch in salubrious surroundings.
We had an extremely pleasant experience at Cote. Food was delicious and portions just right, the atmosphere very enjoyable and the service amazing from the moment we entered to when we left. Daisy took care of us and she did an excellent job. Wonderful smile and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food. We'll definetly go back.
Great food for each dish with the French onion soup being particularly incredible. The atmosphere was relaxing with the service from everyone and Ben especially on point with many jokes & friendly conversation as well!
Outstanding food and a great atmosphere. Nice to go somewhere fancy but not feel like we had to be very quiet or feel rushed. A lovely double date in a lovely place which we will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely dinner here sat outside on a warm summer evening. The burger was very tasty and the cheese platter was well balanced and a great finish to the meal. Very nice 😊
Located in Clifton, it’s a franchise although always ensures quality, reasonable pricing and attentive service. Staff is quite friendly and efficient, food is generally served “fast” and there’s is a wide range of options, all brasserie classics. There is also daily menu options at weekend and for weekdays 2/3 dishes set price menu.
Great anniversary meal at the Clifton Côte. Food was lovely and our server Mauro was very attentive and friendly. We felt very special and looked after from Mauro and the other team. Highly recommend the Sirloin steak!!
Lovely service with lovely food! We were able to eat outside which was really nice and we got lovely served by Bertalan who was really nice and very helpful. They had decaf caffe which would have been great to be added on the drinks menu. Also if there was a barrier for outside for people to go around the street could have been better since a lot of people were walking by the table. The crab mayonnaise was incredible! They told us that the grilled salmon is sourced from UK so we got it and it was just the good balance of healthy food with high quality fish! The fish parmentier was also very great with a lot of different textures coming together nicely :)! The staff were all wearing protective visors which was great as well. Having more space for outside dining with some warm heaters for winter could be a great idea if they want to expand the capacity as well. Highly recommend!
