Pre Booking is a must! We went Monday night and the place was packed. All staff are very friendly and had helpful suggestions. We ordered 4 dishes each as was told they are smaller so go for at least 3 each. Drinks selection was good and they offer moctails too so good for us none drinkers. Food came out as and when ready so you don't know the order they came out in. This did not bother us and all the food smelled so good, the taste was amazing and they had something for everyone from meat to meat free and from plain to very spicy.

Came here with a few friends during a trip to Bristol and would highly recommend. Not only is the food authentic and great, but the service was top-notch throughout. Servers Tigerlily and Coops were always available for advice on what to order, as well as the best choices for the cocktail deals. Not to mention the theatrics of some of the drinks but I won't spoil the surprise for those who may want to visit. Do pay the place a visit if you're passing by :)

Oh where to start. Fantastic service, great explanation by our host about the various menu options. We left our food choice up to the restaurant other than specifying a vegan option and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! One of our party was vegan and the other two tend to eat a plant based diet more often these days. Such was the intensity and range of flavours, we didn't notice the lack of meat. Any leftovers were boxed up ready for the best ever breakfast the following day. I've not enjoyed a restaurant meal this much in years. Both table attendants were extremely helpful and pleasant. Being Bristol, even the background music added to our celebration occasion. A fella on the next table ordered the goat curry which smelt and looked amazing so meat eaters won't be disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to vegans and non-vegans alike.

We had a work night out here. The food was so fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. The cocktails also went down very well. Great atmosphere and really cool decor. I’ll definitely be going back!

Nothing comes close to the authentic Sri Lankan beef kothu served at the @thecoconuttreeuk Bursting with flavour, with generous portions of tender beef, and perfectly tantalising spices, they’ve made the perfect kothu. Truly, a culinary delight!

We had a lovely BIG family meal here for a 40th. The ‘can’t decide’ option worked PERFECTLY for us. So much food came and we got to try EVERYTHING on the menu - it was a real treat! I’m not a big cocktail fan, but their wine by the bottle was fab (it also comes much quicker!) Food was a little but of a wait as you can imagine with a table of 14, but it was totally worth waiting for. The HOPPER is a must have!!!! Thank you to the staff who were so warm and helpful last night. Tasty food, excellent value - would return!

Had a wonderful, delicious meal as always at the Triangle restaurant in Bristol. Particularly favourites are the egg hopper, prawn curry and dhal. Cocktails are great. Food came out one after another in generous portions. What I couldn't eat was boxed up and I enjoyed it the following day for lunch. A very happy customer

Excellent Sri Lanka cuisine. Try the egg hoppers for authentic taste. Reasonably well priced. A must for lunch if you're in Bristol.

Excellent service for coeliacs! 80% of the menu is gluten free anyway and the allergen menu is clear. The server put me at ease straight away as she had read the note on our booking and already knew I was coeliac. Food is excellent - especially fat sister pumpkin curry and blackened pork. Great value for money too. And an excellent espresso martini!

Visited for a date with my husband and had a lovely time. The tapas style food all arrived together and tasted amazing! The staff were friendly and took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations for us. Would recommend for families or dates!

All the dishes we ordered were very, very tasty, and the service was excellent. Just beware that some of the dishes are quite spicy, such as the black pork. The only reason this isn't a five star review is that the portions could be a little bigger for the price (the prawns in particular are quite expensive at £9 given how small the dish is).

Excellent Sri Lankan cocktails and tapas style authentic Sri Lankan curries, located closed to Bristol city centre and BRI. We particularly enjoyed hoppers, black pork curry, goat curry, aurgergine and dhal.
