Absolutely delicious! The food came out piping hot and it was super fresh. Starters on the pricy side, approx £10 each bar the soup, however, it was delicious none the less and I’m glad we ordered one. Mains very reasonably priced for what you get. Only has a few tables which makes for a lovely atmosphere, friendly and quick service too. Will definitely come back
Just brilliant. Really, really tasty and interesting food with generous portions. The cauliflower soup and mackerel starters and the golden syrup and thyme panna cotta stood out for me. Service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was effortlessly calm and welcoming. This menu absolutely has to be tried if you're in Bristol and you love good food.
Fantastic place, friendly and welcoming service. The roast was delicious, we haven't had a roast like that in so long! Generous portions with a great selection of food to eat from. It was perfect! I loved the Austrian Orange wine aswell. We will be coming back for sure. Thanks for having us!
Lovely family dinner at a small independent restaurant. Everything was delicious, and staff were friendly and helpful.
Marvellous gem of a place.Unpretentious with great food and a genuinely interesting and varied drinks list, everything at reasonable prices. We went for a very late - 4pm - Sunday lunch and it was brilliant. Very pleased that our Bristol friends recommended it. We will definitely return when given the chance.
Professionals! Haven’t tried my dessert yet, but it’s def a five-star place. Well done guys and keep making your guests happy!UPD. The odd thing was that they refused to charge my phone a bit - was running out of juices but thankfully I had a physical bank card with me to pay for the meal. The reason was the high cost of electricity. Wasn't sure what is their POV on customers washing their hands or using the toilet as the water is expensive, too 🤦♀️
Best Sunday roast in Bristol! I would recommend booking as it get very busy since the place is quite small. They serve very good portions for a good price. Everything is extremely tasty and well made with good attention to detail.
First visit to Chris and Jo's Kitchen last weekend for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Once you are inside it's a cute little place with a nice atmosphere. The outside could do with sprucing up a bit though as we stood outside briefly thinking it was an abandoned building.
This beautiful little place served some of the best food I've ever had. The owners were friendly and the atmosphere was cosy. I can't recommend it enough! I had the slow-roasted pork belly, which was absolutely delicious!
We've walked past a number of times but never before been in, and now regret not doing so much sooner, despite the pandemic. Warm and friendly, and food so amazingly good I don't know how they're not boasting a Michelin star. Every course was perfect, and very reasonably priced for both the quality and serving size.
