Getting into a nice habit of eating breakfast here on Saturday mornings - can't fault the breakfast, good size portion with black pudding included too! Highly recommended!

As a resident of Brinkworth I love our local. Amazing, scotch egg starter, husband had the lobster, I had the bream - delicious light and so well cooked. Chocolate brownie and snickers dessert was to die for, relaxed sat out in the garden, great service. So nice to have a fantastic local pub.

Gorgeous food off the new menu. Scotch egg sublime, asparagus, wild mushrooms and a crispy egg on toast exceeded expectations. Beautiful presentation. Nothing was too much trouble, great unobtrusive service.

Wow, what a fab fathers day Sunday lunch we had today. The place was packed but we still had great service and the food was delicious. The Staff are friendly and courteous and the price very reasonable for what you get. The new owners deserve every success. Paul T

We have called in several times when in the area .. Great food and the service has always been pretty good. As with all pubs you get locals and the language coming from a young lad in the bar area on our last visit was a bit blue.. Other than that .. Great location and great food

A lovely pub with great beer, outstanding food and excellent service. I wish I'd taken photos. We had chicken pie and chips and steak pie and chips. Pies were excellent; chips were crispy on the outside, soft in the middle; served with a generous portion of perfectly cooked veg. We only visit this area occasionally but we'll definitely make a pitstop at The Three Crowns again.

Can highly recommend the Sunday roasts here. - but be aware it is a limited menu on a Sunday. Plentiful portions with a great selection of fresh vegetables and well cooked meat. Enjoyable desserts too! Shame only black or white coffee...would have loved to finish with a cappuccino! Overall, good value. The pub was very quiet when we visited; the atmosphere could have been improved by some background music. Will go back if in that area again as it is a lovely traditional pub with a spacious conservatory restaurant and lovely bar area. Just one other suggestion -please add your new telephone number to your website which at present is incorrect - I tried calling several times and it said invalid number. Thanks to someone who lives in the village we were given an alternative number to tryotherwise I wouldn't have eaten there!!

2nd Great meal here since Christmas. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff [update] - 3rd visit to our local pub/restaurant - staff once again very attentive and went above and beyond to interact with our table - food arrived very quickly and was well cooked and tasty - I'm being bit picky but the mushy peas with the Fish and Chips could have been a little bit mushier - (is that a word?) - I'm sure we will be making further visits in the future, keep up the good work p.s. the kids love the burgers

Booked a lunchtime table here for my daughters birthday today (15/12). Although the menu was slightly limited, we was happy with what was on offer, plus the additions on the specials board made the choices variable. The food came out quickly, and was piping hot, generous and delicious. The deserts we had after were also delicious & generous. I also have to mention the lady serving us who was delightful and welcoming and attentive on refreshing our drinks to make our lunch a lovely experience.

The best pub service I have had the pleasure of receiving in a long time. We were warmly greeted by the busy but genuine staff who checked to see if we could still get food. When we realised it was only a set menu for Mother's day we initially said no thanks but they offered to do us sandwiches off menu so we stayed. Really glad we did, two lovely warm sarnies made to order with sourdough bread and some dressed spinach. They were generous and delicious and we were stuffed afterwards! Good selection of ales at the bar, shame we couldn't stay for drinks. Looks great for a post walk meal and for families. Thank you:

Two of us had a week day lunch there . The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had to drive past the road works stating the road was closed but they were open! The front car park was full but there was plenty of room at the back. Sat in the conservatory area which was open to the garden which was lovely. The food was a bit variable some bits good and others not so. Probably dependent on what you order and what is in season. I would revisit and just prompt a bit with my preferences next time.

Recent change of management so more time needed for proper assessment. Beer well looked after and lunchtime snack tasty ... though fairly expensive. Decor has improved from previous visits! Staff friendly & efficient. Conservatory needs better heating when weather cold .

Lovely place. Lovely staff. Great meal. There were six of us. Four of us had roast lunches, 2 had macaroni cheese, just couldn't fault any of it. Slightly disappointed with the Berry Eton mess. Two small blobs of cream with a broken shop bought meringue with a fruit puree drizzled over it on a plate. No fresh fruit at all. Waitress said our comments were related back to the chef. Would definitely recommend and would go back.

Great selection of drinks and food. What we picked was really tasty, and the other meals that we saw looked just as great. Staff were fantastic and added to the happy feel.

Good location for traditional Sunday lunch. Lovely fresh veg. Pleasant atmosphere. Really friendly staff. Pudding portions are smaller than average and some come deconstructed which menu doesn’t state. We were so full from all the mains (and the yummy cauliflower cheese) we didn’t mind! Good vegetarian options available too.
