Beautiful food, so flavoursome and good sized portions. Came out at a good pace so we could enjoy a couple at a time. Staff were very warm and friendly and always made sure we had water with no ask. Only criticism I could make, was that it was a little awkward getting in and out of the tables but that won't stop me from going back! Can't wait to try more food from here, thanks for a lovely evening 😊

The quality of the food is comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Highly elaborated small plates, presented in a simple format makes the experience feel like a customizable degustation menu. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend the scallops and the tequila cocktails.

The most delicious food I’ve eaten in Brighton! Everything was very well-seasoned and the staff were very lovely and helpful! The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because of the limited options of soft drinks (for those like me and my husband who are not currently drinking alcohol). Apart from that, we definitely recommend it!

We went to Palmito on a Saturday and we were really amazed by how well made and fascinating the food was in combination with the restaurant’s amazing service. We were two people and shared between us 5 dishes. We also got all 3 of the cocktails and both the deserts. The cocktails were all really well made and refreshing with a kick. From the main dishes, all of them were great, but I would especially recommend the squid and the tempura monkfish with asparagus. The deserts were both really tasty, my personal favourite though was the panna cotta with strawberries. Overall, the service was great, and all the employees who served us were both knowledgeable and polite. Palmito will definitely be one of my new favourites and I m really glad we tried it!

Loved everything about this place. Can see why they're getting such rave reviews from everyone. Super friendly service. Nice atmosphere but the food is top top quality. Every dish we had stood out. All exceptional on their own right. Tried all the cocktails on the menu too and loved them all. Menu seems to change fairly regularly so will be heading back here multiple times I'm sure

What a great new restaurant! I can’t wait to come back already 😋 My partner and I came here for a celebratory dinner on a friend’s recommendation - we ordered 6 plates between us and were absolutely full to the brim!! I think 5 dishes to share between 2 would be sufficient, maybe less if you’re planning on enjoying snacks, cocktails and/or dessert. The service is fast and friendly - service charge isn’t included in the bill, but worth adding as 100% goes to the lovely staff. The presentation of the food is plain and simple, but the flavours speak for themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled nectarines dish and the sweetcorn, and the pork birria taco was divine. The food arrives quickly and as soon as it’s ready - don’t expect all dishes at once! I would say that the atmosphere wasn’t a perfect match for us celebrating our recent engagement - the tables are all super close together which made having a more ‘intimate’ dinner a challenge - but if you’re looking for a lively, buzzy vibe, this is certainly the place for you!! ✨

An excellent little restaurant. The food is tapa style. Good selection of Latin music. Great service. Reasonable prices. (Note to myself, next time order 7-8 plates for 2 people instead of recommended 5-6)

What an amazing place! We had dinner here and it didn’t disappoint. The food is incredible, I’d have ordered everything on the menu if I could have eaten it all! Literally every dish is special, flavoured so amazingly well. The staff are friendly and attentive, the restaurant is small, casual, and welcoming with just the right music to accompany the food. And all the nicer that you can see straight into the kitchen and watch the chef creating this amazing food. We had 6 plates and 2 starter snacks between two of us, but I wish I’d had room for more, would totally recommend and can’t wait to go back.

What an incredible little place! We’ve been so looking forward Palmito opening and been absolutely blown away the first time we visit! The place itself is lovely, open kitchen, all details and small touches are just perfect, you can tell there’s a lot of love & effort behind it! The service was spectacular, so attentive and friendly. All dishes were fantastic! So flavourful and tasty, the ceviche was incredible and the tacos are to die for! We can’t wait to go back.

Exceptional everything. From the food to the attentiveness of the staff, to the busy atmosphere, I loved it. The dishes were all quite inventive but unpretentious and brilliantly well cooked. The style seemed centred around South/Central America, but with strong influences from Britain, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and India, and they were married together masterfully with local produce. Fusion food at its best. The cauliflower and the venison were stunning in particular. Get the olives. And the flatbread. The one thing to be wary of is it's a very cosy little place, so can get a little loud and cramped. I think it adds to the atmosphere, but can imagine others might be uncomfortable if they wanted a quiet meal.
