It is a perfect place for getting hot chocolate or chocolate smoothie. There are many different option on the menu, will suggest people afraid bitter chocolate try the milk chocolate section on the menu.
The marshmallow from this place is really nice to go with the chocolate and looks very cute.
There are a few indoor and out door seats here but not so many, it’s a mainly take away shop.
The hot chocolate powder and gift sections is adorable, many different packages in different season. Must be perfect souvenir to bring home and share with friends.
The best hot chocolate I’ve had in my life. I opted for the 54% cocoa one. However, it is quite expensive so I could only afford the small one at £3.75. Of course, this is totally understandable as it’s high quality chocolate and I’d expect to pay more for that.
I'm a BIG fan of hot chocolate and like to think of myself as a bit of a connoisseur so took the kids on a little diversion here when we visited from London. I had no idea what to expect but it was really lovely - it's pretty spacious with a couple of tables and chairs around the outside. The main event is the hot chocolate and on the board there's more hot chocolate options than you can imagine. I like how each has a percentage of cacao with brief tasting notes underneath. I went for a 73% with oat milk. A regular was just under £6. It felt thicker than your average hot chocolate and a lot less sweet which I liked. A regular was definitely big enough for me - it's quite rich.
Would I go here again? Definitely (there's so many more hot chocolates to try!) but I'd get a small size. They also have homemade marshmallows which I've heard are supposed to be good, but I'm more interested in getting whipped cream on top. Didn't realise they did that!
Such a great concept for a hot (or cold) chocolate shop! Pick your temperature, region, percentage and then choice of milk. Add whipped cream, marshmallows or keep it simple and enjoy. They also sell chocolate pieces to melt down and make your own at home.
If u want a hot chocolate or a chocolate milkshake. Ignore everything you add before this place is delicious everything made with proper real chocolate. They sell big marshmallows as well and there yummy
Canadian traveller here. This was recommended by a local relative. This is for all the hot chocolate lovers out there. I’m so glad this place exists. There’s also the option of getting coffee as well it’s not all hot chocolate.
I’m amazed that a place like this exists with the percentage of chocolate that you would like to have. I had the 60%, but that was a little too rich for me. If I could go back I would have gotten 40-50%. They also have a few pastries. We had the cannoli but that was a little too sweet for me that day - sweeter than the hot chocolate itself, but I would still recommended it. They have cute merch for purchase as well. Seatings both in door and outdoor. Interior design is simple and modern.
The most chocolate drink I’ve had, I went for 96 but I 90 would have been better for me. I would definitely try again although it was very pricey.
Very very delicious hot chocolate and great for vegans (although I wish they had vegan marshmallows)! I had the 100% with almond milk and my boyfriend had 35% with matcha. They are veryyyyy expensive but a nice one-off treat! Service could be better - I don’t mind at all having to wait to be served while staff are finishing off tasks, but it would be nice to acknowledged and for them to let you know that they’ll be with you in a few mins:)
Really good hot chocolate ( had the 34% one)
It was a perfect blend of milk and white chocolate.
The cacao tea was also very good too.
Only downside is the price but great as a occasional treat
We got a hot chocolate and a milshake, the milkshake is the best we have ever had! They ladelled in melted chocolate and mixed with ice cream and it was delicious!! The hot chocolate was lush also!!! Loads of options making it really unique!
A great way to have a hot chocolate 🍫.. if you like choices. Ask the friendly staff for recommendations based on your preferences. Milkshake, coffee ☕️ and cold chocolate is also available. Grab a table outside and watch people go by.
We had the Venezuelan milk chocolate (darkest amongst the milk range), and we found it a bit sweet, but delicious nonetheless.
Decedent hot chocolate cafe. Had a huge selection of vegan options, even vegan marshmallows and whipped cream.
The ice chocolate here is delicious. I have made plenty of trips down to Brighton just to have an ice chocolate. My go to is the 85% with a pinch of sea salt and chilli. Yum!
Well worth a cycle ride from London! We love the concept and all the chocolates on offer. Can't wait to cycle to the next Knoops opening :)
Thick and tasty chocolate drink with plenty of choices (the sea-salt add-on to my 70% cocoa drink was amazing!). Was a little pricey but i took it as a once in a while treat (you could even add a little water to dilute it further and it would still taste great).
Discovered this place as it was right next to our apartment. Absolutely delicious mochas, best I have ever had. I loved to see all the choices for chocolate % and what flavours. My favourite was hazelnut so delicious! Cant wait to come back to Brighton just so I can have a delicious coffee here again.
The best hot chocolate I have ever had. Loads and loads of choice so if you like hot chocolate there will be something here for you!
I even got a little box of the stuff to take home with me!
I will definitely be coming here every single time I visit Brighton. Completely and totally recommend to absolutely everyone.
55% milkshake with a bit of sea salt in it is amazing too, and a great way to cool down for a walk along the front!
