We stayed in Kemptown, Brighton for a long weekend and were lucky enough to stumble across The Avenue on our second day. Beautiful bohemian setting, lovely staff and a fantastic menu. I had an open sandwich which was THE best sandwich I have ever had.

Nice local chain with good vibes and a good iced matcha late. No AirCon and pricier drinks than average, but still a nice spot to relax after a long day at the beach. Bathroom situation and arrived not so great (but perhaps due to short staff, no big deal)

Genuinely don't understand some of the negative reviews here. I've been a fairly frequent regular and the friendliness of everyone there is what keeps me coming back. Nothing like service with a genuinely warm smile.

We came at 2:30 on a weekday and sat with our laptops for a few hours, the place wasnāt full and there were outlets and good wifi so it was a comfortable environment. They have a 1 hr laptop policy during peak hours of 9-3pm. You may not need to move if the tables arenāt full but good to keep in min
