A very good Filipino food experience, unexpected for Brighton! I recommend pairing with the mango salad! Everything was very good, a little toward the British tastebud but still good.
Amazing restaurant!! Options for vegetarians, great ambiance and the people are so nice! The mangga salad was very soft and it's such a smart combination I loved it! The spotify playlist was also really cool (but I can't find it! if you could share it maybe...:)).
Great food. Tasty. Staff awesome informed us about whats not available on the menu before ordering. Atmosphere awesome. Slightly tight spaces but we got our own corner good for 6 persons.
Great location with beautiful decor. The owners are wonderfully welcoming, the cocktails were delicious and the food super tasty. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back 🥘 we had a pork dish and tofu 🤤! Nice and intimate venue with a beaujtul view out the balcony.
Fantastic food, very authentic filipino stuff and an interesting backstory behind the restaurant. They were very nice about a delay behind our food and gave us some extra for our troubles, staff are super friendly, overall amazing experience
Authentic Filipino food experience. Tokwa’t baboy and lechon kawali ftw. Super accommodating service by Jay and Sarah. Friendly banter and hearing about their Pinoy roots made our late lunch even better. Worth coming back.
Great filipino food. Came here 4x in a year. I'm still coming back for sure. The only thing is that no one replies for when you try and book for a table in their ig and fb. 😅 Also, there is no contact number. Just go there and hope you will be seated or hope that they are really open on that day. I
We tried the sisig and sinigang and i love it! This is probably the most authentic sisig and sinigang i tasted in the UK (i tried plenty in London). They made mine without mayo as i requested and glad they accommodated it. I would personally prefer the sisig meat to be minced more but that's just pi
Super authentic Filipino restaurant. A nice cosy atmosphere makes it an intimate experience. The dishes and portion sizes are very generous and would make anyone looking for their hit of Filipino food proud. Booking would be highly recommended.
Great food and interior. Love the Filipino mythical theme and food presentation. Nilasing na hipon was perfectly fried & flavourful. Dinuguan was legit. Ube shake had the perfect Ube flavour (neither too sweet/overpowering nor bland). Cocktails (I think I got kapre) were delish. Sisig was some of
If you happen to be in Brighton, a resident or visiting and you are craving to eat something like Filipino dishes? This the place. (I’m sure they serve vegetarian meals as well) I don’t know what to recommend specifically because I just love all of them 😅😅😅
Suchhhh amazing pork sisig and lechon kare kare (they were out of oxtail when I went)! Lumpia was tasty but definitely not the usual small and more veggie filled authentic ones. Kinilaw was way too spicy, I’ve never had such spicy kinilaw in the Philippines or other Filipino restos. Barakotini was a
A good selection of Filipino favorites well prepare and authentic. Really enjoyed the food and friendly staff. We sat outside but there are some nice windod seats quirky corners inside on the first and second floor. Plenty of Filipinos eating here add to the atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table
Outstanding Filipino food. Great rum cocktails. And best of all so much ube!! Lots of vegetarian, vegan options as well as traditional meat dishes and most of the mains are gluten-free, all with authentic taste. Would of liked to have changed the sound of seagulls for the sound of roosters but tha
Good food, sometimes they dont have the choices in their menu but still have plenty to choose from. Good portions, I’m always full when i visit. Only gave 4 stars because it takes quite a while for your food to arrive, but it’s understandable as they only have 1 chef. Would highly recommend if you w
This is a great place to hang out with friends and have some good food and drinks too, indoor or outdoor. I tried the chicken barbeque skewers, and it was great. My friends tried the other dishes like nilasing na hipon (I didn't like this much) and calamari (rubbery). They also had lechong kawali (I
I went here with two Filipino friends. I’ve had Filipino food before but this was to an excellent standard. The taste was out of this world. I’ve not been on the Brighton food scene too much so if this place isn’t already popular - it should be. A must for people in Brighton
Had food here before was incredible. Stopped for a cocktail outside today in the gorgeous weather. Great decor, great music, great vibe!
I've walked past a million times and can't believe I've never been to this little gem. Just happened to be walking by while on search of somewhere for lunch. Friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. We had chicken wings and beef spring rolls to start, the chicken wings were absolutely delicious
