The best Sunday roast I have ever eaten in a pub. The lamb was tender. It was the balls of stuffing that were truly amazing - in a delicious gravy of their own. It may not be in the centre of town but it is worth the detour.
Excellent service and really good food. My chicken roast was lovely.
I only tried to get into this pub to use their toilet as I was travelling and desperate. Very nice pub, our first visit here since they reopened. The bar staff were very friendly & the alcohol selection was good. We had a lamb roast & a beef roast & they were both excellent, the beef in particularly so. Worth a visit!
Had light dishes which were very tasty and filling. Staff very friendly and helpful. Decor welcoming.
