This tea shop is a little jewel in the lanes. Beautiful design, great tea and the best scones ever! The scones were so fresh and airy and delicious. If you want a great experience of tea in Brighton, you should try this store.
quintessentially English tea shop to enjoy a cream tea and more. Warm scones served with thick clotted cream and delicious jam. We also had their English tea which came with a choice of a sandwich. Service is excellent, welcoming and efficient. Would suggest reservations as the place can get busy.
We stopped by to have tea and dessert. I had a Darjeeling tea with a spiced Earl Grey cake which was absolutely delicious. The staff are so nice and welcoming - strongly recommend! I love these British tea rooms that keep culture and tradition alive.
We have been traveling throughout England for the past two weeks and most days have enjoyed stopping for cream tea. This was our second to last cream tea of the trip and it was the best by far. Quite a cute little tea shop. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The scones were very nice as was the tea and sandwiches. The cake was OK not the best I have ever had. But we really enjoyed visiting and having afternoon tea! We would probably visit again.
Love this place. Stopped for a non fussy lunch and had some good food & great service. Also, tea came in a teapot, so more than one cup 👍 Loved the background music too.
My daughter & i came in today for an afternoon tea today..service was great..food was freshly prepared. Thanks for making our hot chocolates extra hot. They were perfect .

Came here with my friend to have a well deserved catch up over afternoon tea on 30/9 and LOVED it! The service was super friendly and we never felt rushed, even though we took an age to order and leave due to chatting! I am a coeliac, and was reassured from the moment I emailed to book the table. Had afternoon tea for the first time ever for my birthday. This place was somewhat hard to find as it was located in a narrow road in the Lanes. Staff were extremely friendly and the service was fast. Food was also delicious and the prices were great too. It's incredibly hard to come by a café/resta
