After having been recently refurbished, we thought we'd try our local again. Great cosy little pub inside, with open fire and friendly atmosphere - new landlord very welcoming. Great house red and reasonably cheap too (for a pub wine bottle). We found the menu a bit limited if honest. Couldn't fault the ham, poached eggs and chips. The beer battered fish and chips was a bit on the small side, portion wise and lacked flavour. The cheese board won back favour though, and was considered the best part of the experience. Will visit again.
I found this restaurant great in taste and professionalism at its best. Yesterday we were craving for some Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine and randomly we choose it which totally paid off 😊😊❤️!Also, the owner is a wonderful person I must say, which is a bonus!
Overall, it is one of the best Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine restaurants in Brighton!🤩😊
We’ve been here twice. Just what a local should be plus great food. The service is outstanding here and it’s clearly a real priority. Will be back again very soon. Very local, great people, great food. Well done folks!
I am a Brightonian and have visited Balti Express more times than i can remember.
The food is delicious, the staff and service are top notch. Attentif polite and efficient
Been ordering from these guys pretty much fortnightly for a few years now and have only been slightly disappointed on one occasion (everyone has on off night surely and no-one's perfect!). We no longer order Indian food from anywhere else. Have recommended to friends and family who also became converts and loyal customers. What more can I say? Check 'em out!!
I've been using this takeaway for a few years now. Always delicious and they are always happy with me changing my order/extra spice ect. They also cater for vegans and go out of their way to do so which not a lot of takeaways do. A weekly order for me at least!
Balti Express is consistently excellent! Before going to them about 3 years ago, I got generally disappointing curry’s elsewhere. I then tried Balti Express and will NOT be going anywhere else for a curry. Keep up the great quality, value and service, Balti Express!!😁
I'm so glad I've found Balti Express. I'm a big foodie and. I have tried numerous indian takeaways & restaurants in Brighton & Hove, The Balti Express is by far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Their delivery service is quick & reliable too.

I was once tempted recently to try The Agra at Fiveways just for a change, just to see if the extra cost lived up to their promise of being the best in Brighton. Needless to say that I'm back using Balti Express and even more appreciative that they do the best take-away Indian food in Brighton & Hove. Nice people too.

had a takeaway last night, it was amazing, everything nice and fresh they even gave us plates and cutlery as we was staying in a hotel. nice friendly people. would definitely come here again.
Awesome! the tastiness and quality of a BX is something I've been able to rely on for nearly 10 years. Now I just wish I could find Chinese that was this good and this consistent. Full recommendation from me.
Food always tastes good, even if a little cold if delivery has taken a while. Lots of options for vegetarians, which is awesome!
