Lots of undeserved negative reviews here! I often stop at FCB when travelling or even just passing through the station. The team are always so cheery and friendly at all times of day. They're also pretty quick considering how busy it gets - be specific when you order (ie. dairy milk, oat milk, sugar) and you'll be on your way. It's a godsend for being open so early and later than many coffee shops nearby. Great variety of pastries on offer throughout the day (Real Patisserie if I'm not mistaken), if not a little pricey when you're on the go, but where isn't these days? Coffee quality varies sometimes in terms of temperature, but it's the best quality coffee I've ever had from a railway concession.
I recently visited FCB in the station and had a delightful experience. Not only was the coffee they served absolutely delicious, but the customer service provided by Sarah was exceptional. She greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel incredibly welcome. The combination of Sarah's lovely personality and the shop's fantastic coffee made my visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by this coffee shop for a delightful cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.
The coffee is usually way too hot. It takes 20 mins before it's cool enough to take a sip. Coffee itself is good though.
Loved the sproud milk in my vegan hot choc! And the recyclable cups actually function as well as any other cup which is a plus.
It is an excellent place to stay for killing time, but the coffee IMO is so-so.
The coffee quality was not that good. But 4 stars for the Male barista who served me, friendly and good sense of humour, made the customers smile! Yes, I agree, the women/girls baristas were not friendly! I love the Almond/Chocolate 🥐 !
Literally the best oat flat white I've had in Brighton.
Good courteous service, coffee a hair bitter for my liking but better than no coffee.
Adore this place. Always there for me at the start of my commute or a journey. The service is always charming, the pastries delicious and the coffee rejuvenating. A great way to start the day.
For someone with Crohn’s, this is a great place to grab a dairy-free coffee before a long train journey! Very quick service too if you are in a rush.
Always lovely coffee and great service from the happiest of men I’ve met. He always brightens up my day. Thank you.
My preferred coffee place in Brighton station, the staff are so friendly and quick ..they literally take 2 minutes to serve you anything …today I was viciously attacked by a seagull who stole my fruit danish and the nice lady at FCB coffee was super friendly to me and made my day much better
