good beer selection, friendly staff and a lovely beer garden
Had a lil redevelopment since I was last here (years ago). It has become a great social hangout with a garden and many pub games on offer, toad, darts, pool, beer pong/games.
Pizza is also on offer, which I've been told is decent.
Great selection of beers, great atmosphere, free pool table, pub games, they show all the sports and are lovely people. Great veggie pizza too!
They've got a pool table n not only that, it's pink which is super cool. Also chess boards which are printed onto some of the tables. I just got a Carling , think it was 4.95. Cool pub

Recently refurbished and looking great. Cool space with lots of card games and TVs for football. Best of all cheap drinks. Could definetly see this becoming a student hub on elm grove

Pub staff were great. Decent beer and pizza as well.
Think there is a new landlord here and it was really nice staff were very welcoming there's big screens to watch sport and I think they are doing food too (pizza manly I think ) I will definitely be going back for a pint and a slice of pizza

fantastic pub downstairs and really nice restaurant up the stairs. The Sunday Roast was absolutely delicious and the staff helped out a lot ! will definitely be back
It was a nice pub although the furniture was a little basic. A good choice of beers and the service was good.

Friendly staff and good choice of drinks. Improvement on previous owners as they now have ice behind the bar. Have gone in on spur of the moment when bands are playing. Seen a couple of brilliant young bands I'd never heard of.

Good local pub with nice food. Prices have gone up a bit recently and could do with more lager choice but decent selection of Ales on rotation. Staff are generally chatty and friendly plus there's outside space at the front for summer sun and out the back in the shade.

Great Thai food, games nights, poker nights, good beer and good staff... Came in tonight, I have eaten in 90 percent of Thai restaurants in Brighton, for less than a tenner had an authentic curry which would cost double elsewhere, portion bigger than elsewhere.. You will not be disappointed
