I love this place. An absolute gem of a pub. Friendly and attentive staff, serving a delicious smokehouse menu during the week and a monster roast on Sundays! Awesome decor with a really interesting layout split across two floors with loads of little nooks and comfortable corners to read, draw and chill out in. Ping pong table upstairs too! Plus they have a weekly Poker night and fortnightly, a pub quiz and a board game night. Also- the beer selection is ridiculously good and regularly changing- ale and craft beer lovers won't be disappointed with whats on offer on draft, in cans, or in bottles. Have been going for well over a year and still haven't tried everything. Great place!

Table tennis upstairs but an underwhelming garden and live music isn't quite there often enouth. The food is top quality and a decent selection of drinks.

This pub had seats (indoor and out), tables, live music, toilets, lovely staff, beer and probably other drinks, and possibly crisps (I didn't ask) - That's 5/5 stars in my book. But I have a red line and that's paying more than £5 for a beer, especially outside of the town center! That's guna cost ya half a star. So why 4/5 for this review? My Sherpa guide which took me up Hanover stole my identity and upgraded my Netflix account to the 4K one and paid back my overdue Blockbuster fees. Thinking about it, that's not your fault. Really, it's not his. If anything this whole situation has given me adequate time to reflect and I will undoubtedly be a stronger person as a result of it. Just stop charging so much for beer that isn't poured into my mouth by a golden retriever dressed like a bumble bee being swung around the pub on a rotating fan.

Used to be called 'the pub with no name's, has been completely refurbished. Good modern British pub, small and intimate at times but can accommodate large groups as well.

Good selection of beer and good food. Staff are pleasant but not always interested in the customers. But overall a good pub.

Friendly pub with a good selection of craft lagers. Has a function room upstairs. Staff are cool but still friendly. How original is that.

Lovely, quite a big pub that feels small. Outside seats (yard rather than garden) and upstairs area with a ping pong table.
