Absolutely delicious food (got chicken Sunday Roast and fish & chips, also garlic bread with cheese - all the flavours were absolutely incredible!), only thing was that “while you wait” food came out at the same time as the mains so that was a little inconvenient. Rare afternoon off while traveling for work and had the most wonderful lunch with a seaside view in Brighton. Seabass and a glass...just lovely!

If you're looking to wine and dine on the seaside, look no further! Fantastic food (try the seabass, it's excellent!), excellent service, and a location with a spectacular view. The staff was very attentive and checked on us throughout our stay.

This place is a hidden gem the food is UNREAL I go to expensive resturants and none of the food even comes close to this place the chefs are incredible and the atmosphere is first class all the staff are so friendly!!!!! My ABSALOUTE favourite resturant in brighton 🤩😍

Very polite and the staff made us feel welcome. It was a busy Sunday and we were treated very well. We asked for a kids menu pizza, but the server put in the wrong order. They gave us a full sized pizza but still charged us for a kids pizza. Excellent food and a clean kitchen.

Lovely eggs benedict with smoked salmon breakfast, just not sure about the veg full English

Lovely atmosphere at the monarch, good vibes, staff were all very friendly, hospitality was top notch! Had the beef roast dinner and it was to die, must was so tender it melted in my mouth.
