Being a big time lover of south indian food, i loved my time and experience here. Loved my fav south indian filter coffee and rasam along with dosa. Did not like Veg briyani but will rate 5/5. Will visit again.
Indulge in the delectable cuisine of South India and savor the authentic flavors of various dishes. From the classic plain dosa and masala dosa to the flavorful poori masala and fried rice, there is something for everyone. Don't miss out on the delightful kothu protta and the refreshing real filter
One of the good places which offers authentic Indian food. Definitely have to say this the taste here is really amazing. 🤩 well recommended for South Indian food and also the chole bhature is a must try. Prices are getting bit more on the expensive side, over the last few months.
Delicious food and incredible service!! The egg Kottu and Tamarind Garlic curry were outstanding. Very helpful waiters and it's cool watching the chefs in the kitchen do their thing. Speedy and affordable, and all looks to be homemade, we'll be back!
I have tried most well established Indian restaurants in the UK and this is the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited in the UK. The dishes which were exciting were mutton chukka, dosai varieties, butter milk and coffee. Must try these dishes when you visit. When you ask for coffee, please as
I've been to vel a few times, and everytime I loved it. This is one of the best places I've been to for South Indian food, and most places don't this food are so expensive. The service is always attentive. The dosas are a must have. Unsurprisingly for a south Indian restraunt, there are amazing vege
It’s not the typical Indian Restaurant, where usually serve westernised Indian cuisine. It’s one of best South Indian restaurant with authentic South Indian cuisine. It’s a small restaurant near Kemp town in Brighton . You will have to book your place, as it can get really busy. We really enjoyed
Amazing South Indian food, best so far in Brighton. Mutton pepper gravy, biryani, Kottu paratha and dahi vada are too good. They have amazing masala chai as well. Staff is very friendly and provide great service. Didn't try dosa but saw the preparation and it looks delicious.
Visited the last night for a dinner on a bank holiday. Had to wait for 10mins for seating and another 30mins to get the Menu on table. They were busy and only two people to manage all tables. But once the food arrived it was worth the wait. All the things we ordered were super delicious and taste l
My favourite Indian restaurant in Brighton, and one of the best place to eat in Kemptown. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and menu varied with plenty of choices. Prices are generally ok with a few exceptions (£9 for egg fried rice seem rather excessive).
Lovely authentic food and very reasonably priced. Went for my son's first birthday earlier, he made a mess on the floor and the staff were very friendly and understanding. Thank you.
By far the best Indian in Brighton, the only authentic South Indian food around. The ghee roast and poori are insane. Real coconut chutney too.
South Indian cuisine including street food favourites. The staff will happily explain the menu. The new yellow trays remind me school dinners, wish they had more traditional stainless steel ones. Otherwise good value.
I have no idea why this is rated 4.4. This has probably been the best and most authentic Indian food I have ever had in England, From brick lane to Brighton I have been constantly disappointed. All these new and high rated Indian places to eat are just not that great. I have been to India many time
A surprising place for Indian snacks and veges. A lovely menu for Indians and those wanting to try Indian food- dosas, vadas, chutneys and the sambhars, etc. . Loved the atmosphere, the warmth of the staff. Filter coffee lovers- Here is your place. Follow good hygiene standards in cooking and servin
