The Open House - Brighton - Photo album

An old favourite. The open house has remained a great pub for many years. Good service, a nice space inside and out and historically good food, didn't eat on this occasion.
Usually attend special events in the lounge, where the acoustics are good for talking without needing to raise voices above music. The tables have proven a good size for card and board game meets. They also stock a nice selection of soft drinks, as well as alcohol.
A hidden gem! Delicious veggie roast, and love that you can get a "small" portion (which justified getting the cauliflower cheese as a side!) Definitely recommend.
Our 1st time at Open House. Our requested small size roasts were tasty and well presented. The side dish of cauliflower cheese was scrumptious too!
I really like The Open House, it’s a very modern and youthful pub. It has an amazing big garden and a wide range of food on the menu. The portions were large and not pricey at all compared to other places. The open house is a hidden gem and wish more people knew about it! There’s also a sign that fo
We travelled over from Portsmouth for my sister-in-laws birthday, and as soon as we walked through the door I was really impressed with the atmosphere, decor and overall vibe. We went for Sunday lunch and it was spectacular!! My wife and I haven’t stopped talking about it and that was over a week ag
Loved this wonderful pub next to our dear friend’s flat. Had a pint of kronenbourg 1664 beer followed by prawn and haddock Sri Lankan curry and brown rice. As a Srilankan, I approve that😁 My partner had lamb chops and salad and pita. It was mouthwatering. Friendly staff, great decor and ambiance. Pe
Sunday lunch for family of 7. Very very good. Well prepared food with decent portions. Informal atmosphere. Great service and decent value. Thanks. Oh yeh good beer too.
Great place, good atmosphere, caters for groups, great beer, hideaway garden, booths, what's not to like
Great place to have a birthday party. We had a fantastic buffet and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Best pub in town to get everyone together. Would highly recommend.
Had great meal, we sat inside but gardens are lovely, partly booths, some with heaters and string lights around. Dog friendly inside and out.
We love the open house! Simple as that, its been our "local" for a few years and we know we can pop in any time of day or spend all evening there! Cheers team!
A group of us met here as it was fairly central for all of us. Easy to get to from London Road train station. The food was good, it arrived quite soon after and was piping hot and delicious. Soft drinks (as with most places) were expensive. I would certainly return.
Gorgeous outdoor space which you'd probably never guess from the outside. Really great to have a couple of drinks on a summer evening with a friend. The fish and chips looked good so I've made a note for next time 😉
Nice outdoor area and very clean and tidy
