Amazing food and a fantastic Beer. It has a private room with bar for hire. And it has a beautiful enclosed garden terrace. All in the centre of town, with helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely pub, nice decirations, great roof terace, great staff! And quite handy because it't near the train station and I was able to grab quite fast a scotch egg and a Frontier for lunch. Next time I come to Brighton I'll sure stop there first time.

We went to the nightingale room last night and saw Mr B the gentleman rhymer! I haven't laughed so much in such a long time! The food was great the drinks where fantastic! For a great night out this is the place to go. So much so I'm now here again sitting in the sunshine in the hidden garden! Great great place.

Fab happy dancing to Northern Soul and Disco on Bank Holiday Sunday. The whole pub got up and danced whilst the biggest Monsoon and Lighting shook the world outside.

A really lovely pub, me and my girlfriend just sat for a drink and quick bite to eat before leaving Brighton and loved it. The bartenders were wonderful, and the food tasted great! The aesthetic is also very cute, I loved the decorations ❤️ I enjoyed our little break here very much and would definitely stop by again if I return to Brighton.

Have nothing negative to say about The Grand Central, Brighton. The staff always make an effort to be friendly and courteous. The food ( have only had the vegan burger, twice) was excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Reasonably priced and a good location... As I said, no complaints. Happy to recommend. Will be going back again, I'm sure.

Fantastic pub quiz, the guy who runs them on Tuesdays is very funny and charismatic. Bar staff are a bit stand offish, one guy in particular. Drink prices have also been put up in recent months. £2.90 for a small glass of tap lemonade is insane but it is Brighton so there you are. The food is great, the wings especially are delicious. The pub itself has a great atmosphere, the decor is lovely and the bathrooms are clean.

Right next to Brighton Station which makes it a very healthy stop for visitors just landing! Quality of draft beers was on point but the slightly overpriced food let's it down a tad. Gorgeous rooftop and friendly staff make this an essential stop on your trip :)

Lovely pub located just off Brighton station. The staff are lovely and the food was good. Only issue is their food menu doesn't completely match with their website menu. That aside it's a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a beverage

I came here on a sunny afternoon and went straight up to the roof terrace where a DJ was playing chilled Ibiza tracks. We were lucky with the weather and spent a lovely afternoon listening to music and catching up with friends. The food was good and the staff were great.

I booked my 50th Birthday party at the Nightingale function room upstairs at the Grand Central. Having done my research, I don't think there is a better function room in Brighton to hire. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. They also answered all my emails really promptly which was really reassuring. It meant all I had to do was turn up and have a blast! I can’t recommend the venue enough!

This is a great little pub located right across from the train station. We got there right after opening, and the place filled up pretty quickly. Lovely bar staff who were friendly and efficient. We ordered Welsh rarebit which turned out to be basically a cheese toastie. A good one, though. Lots of colorful folks popping by; a great place to spend an hour or two.

A nice place for food and drink though does not serve food on a Monday, however when there is food there, a good option to have something for early evening. Good views over the station front area where the buses turn. Near to the trains and some of the hotels here as well, would come back at some point to try out other menu options here.

Outstanding food, great beer, friendly staff and relaxed vibe, right by the station.. we had the thyme roasted chicken warm salad signature dish and it was amazing! . ..would be 5 stars but the Gents is badly needing attention

Had a great night here, but it was a bit too hot upstairs. One barmaid downstairs was lovely, the other was quite possibly the moodiest cow I've ever been served by. Bar staff upstairs were fast and friendly. A good place to go, just avoid the moody Debbie Downer blonde girl on the ground floor!👍

Always a good starting point for a night out, can be a bit lively but always good to visit and always tempted to stay on for more, great service, and a friendly crowd.

Very nice bar with lovely bartenders and good chef. The interior is decorated in an informal way with colourful furniture which gives you a nice chilling experience. Hidden away upstairs there is also a lovely roof garden. Food was all good, particularly the lamb shish with fresh tzatziki sauce and toasted pitta.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Dreadful place to get into for djs in the nightingale room upstairs.... Handy to know if you're booking one. Once You've skinned your knuckles getting the gear in, it's well set up with a small, in-house pa for soloists and duos etc. And a large mixing desk and lighting control.

Lovely pub with great live music just by Brighton train station. We were here for a private event and they looked after us very well. The food was excellent, the bar service was great and they worked very hard, the DJ had everyone up dancing, plenty of seats, nice large room, loved the quirky wardrobe hatch to the kitchen. Staff were fab and when we went back next day to clear the staff had done a lot of it, thank you, the wedding reception was great and got to say we loved the roof terrace when we were all hot

This is a welcoming and friendly pub, with some good local history. Varied range of ales, beers and lager on sale, plus cocktails. We two opted for the gammon, eggs and chips for lunch, and it was well cooked and tasty. Good service from the barman and staff. Very well located for the main shops and almost adjacent to the mainline station terminal - Recommended
