Shahi Tandoori - Brighton - Photo album

Been here a few times now, both dining in. The menu is huge - quite overwhelming actually, but the waiter provided a bit of guidance. I found the food both times quite good. The ‘grabbing a curry’ is deeply rooted in the English culture, but this is mostly done through taking food home. I like it h
Spend one dinner night, I should really thank the entire team for a happy welcoming even at the last minute for closing the shop. Dishes are really good which giving nice aroma of Indian spices and all. One bad thing I noticed was few currys they serve have a common base gravy , which doesn’t mak
Myself and a few friends go down to Shari from time to time when the deal is on offer. Nan bread, starter, curry and a rice all for under £10 so not bad when you can't be bothered to cook. We always get the youngish waiter who takes his time to talk to you and make you feel welcomed. The food is pre
Absolutely delicious lamb madras boiled rice and chapati. Soft lamb.
Finally ! After many years of searching , I had a curry yesterday evening on my 77th birthday the way they used to be back in the 1960s. I can only eat mild food and the chef made it exactly how I love it . Well done to the whole staff. I will now look forward to some takeaways . Thank you Best wish
The mild curry was nice and the Naan was also amazing. However, I didn’t rate 5 stars because the packaging is horrible and always leaks. Kindly, change your packaging with more secure lids.
Excellent food. A good experience.
My first visit to the Shahi Tandoori to celebrate a friends birthday was very enjoyable experience. The service could not be faulted and the food was tasty and well presented. Very good value and will visit again.
Great spot for a decent curry. Really good service, very friendly and helpful. Food always seems to be very good. Beer on tap too... What's not to like.
Four of us had an evening meal this week and found the food to be OK, typical chain. Our waiter was very attentive. It was very noisy due to a large crowd on another table, difficult for us to have a conversation. It was quite a cold evening and there was a draught coming through the large window
We arrived in Brighton after 10:30 Monday. Finding a restaurant open was difficult. This restaurant stayed open while we made our way over. Great food excellent service. Will definitely eat there again. Thanks guys
Food was good 👍 have had better at other Indian restaurants, but nice place service was good worth a visit
Posting as I'd read other reviews before ordering tonight and thought I'd take the risk as I know people often forget to post when the food has been good! Food was nice - I ordered chicken Rogan and there was plenty of chicken and it wasn't watery. Ordered via deliveroo so not always clear on sizing
Very impressed. Traditional style done very well. The chicken was very well cooked, lots of aromatics in the sauce, great portion size and the garlic rice was fresh and delicious! Will be back to eat in soon, but for now I will be enjoying lots more takeaway!
