Cozy Ambiance with Quality Dining - A Solid Four-Star Experience I recently visited the Seven Stars Pub and left with mixed yet mostly positive impressions, meriting a solid four-star review. The pub presents a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for evenings out, accompanied by fantastic live music that adds a lively vibe to the dining experience. The quality of the food is undeniable; every dish we ordered was prepared with care and featured high-quality ingredients, showcasing the chef's commitment to offering guests a memorable meal. However, it's worth noting that the portions are on the smaller side relative to the price. While the dishes are delicious, the size may leave something to be desired, especially considering the premium you pay. This aspect might not suit everyone's expectations or appetite, particularly if you're coming in with a hefty hunger. On the brighter side, the live music truly sets Seven Stars Pub apart. The talent and energy of the performers create an engaging and enjoyable environment, making it a great spot for music lovers looking to enjoy a night out with a good vibe. In terms of pricing, expect to pay a bit more than average. The pub positions itself in a higher price bracket, which is reflected in the cost of both food and drinks. While this might deter some, for those who prioritize quality and atmosphere over quantity, it's worth the expense. In conclusion, if you're after a place with excellent live music and quality dining in a cozy setting, Seven Stars Pub is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for smaller portions and a higher bill, but for the right occasion, it offers a lovely experience.

Really yummy Sunday roast and the children's half portion of roast was even big enough for me! It had almost as many scrumptious caramelised vegs, just a bit less meat. Along a very cheesy creamy cauliflower cheese of course. I recommend the pork belly with the weird puffed crackling very crispy indeed. Oh and the decor is amazing plus they have live jazz every Sunday from 4.30pm. What's not to like?

A lovely little pub with a good atmosphere - the live jazz band was a nice touch. We ordered Sunday roasts which were very tasty, but the roast potatoes weren't quite up to scratch.

Seven Stars kindly set aside the rear section of the pub for me to throw my other half a surprise party for about 50 people. We already love the pub but I have to say how helpful and hospitable they were for us. Everyone was happy with the music, food, drinks and atmosphere and it was the prefect venue for a 40th. They were even happy for me to bring in a token birthday cake. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub for a cheeky pint or to hold a celebration.

Had a Sunday roast here and it definitely exceeded expectations!! Tried both the beef and the pork belly and both were very well cooked. Veggies and Yorkshire pudding were up to a good standard. Good beer selection as well, and the pub is very cozy. Recommended!!

Great food and beer selection, if you wish to eat I'd recommend going before 6pm as it can get very busy in here and finding a table can be tricky. The place had a cool look, mixing old school pub with modern touches. Also has theme food nights, macaroni Monday and chicken Wednesday.

Good range of food, not extensive but different enough for genuine choice. My hallumi hot dog was good but had weird chewy things on top, chips and salad great, boyfriend had sausage and mash which could have done with some veg. Not enough to stop me from returning for more food. Would have stayed longer for drinks but DJ came on at 9:15 and we could no longer talk. Hey, must be my age, Thursday night meals out are for talking. Nice place, gorgeous decoration, reasonably priced.

Excellent, friendly service, and a bar with a couple of decent IPAs. The one I had was called 'Dreams', I believe, and was pretty dreamy. Also my mate liked the look of the vegan options on the menu but, sadly, she was in Northampton.

It was a wonderfully hot sunny day when we popped in here for a refreshing drink to cool us down. Our waitress was exemplary and we stayed to order some food. Absolutely delicious.

Nice spot to have drinks. We liked the live music but it was too loud so we couldn’t talk. They have a special offer: 2 drinks for £15 on the same cocktail, what I find very nice. I can really recommend the peach cosmopolitan. All in one the location is very nice and I’ll definitely go there again.

Nice pub, we reserved tables in the afternoon to say goodbye to some work friends. Good atmosphere but sports screens were on way to loud, staff were friendly drinks average prices for Brighton

Had a really lovely time tonight. Initially just went in for a drink but stayed for a couple. They were short staffed and busy but the staff were lovely especially a young girl with brown hair in buns. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We even got a table to have our dinner there, a halloumi burger and a beef burger, which were amazing. Had a great night, would highly recommend

The service, food and vegan selection is excellent, seitan sandwich was so good! Just the vibe of the place wasn't great, suspiciously dead during a busy Saturday when we visited

One of the most stylish and original pubs in Brighton (not far from the seafront), the Seven Stars offers a more than decent variety of ales, plus the usual selection of national and international lagers. What makes the Seven Stars special is the highly original décor and the spacious indoor seating area - this is truly a place to linger and while away a lazy afternoon. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful, too. One of the best traditional pubs (with a bar vibe) in Brighton. Recommended.
