The Royal Sovereign - Brighton - Photo album

A very welcoming feel pub, just off one of the main shopping streets, in amongst, what I would class the far east quarter for food. The beer was good and went down a treat. The evening we went there was live music, Which wasn't banging out the sound, you could still talk. Would go back there again.
We just drank there to get out of the rain. Lovely at lunchtime with the fire burning on a cold day. Great decor, lots of fun bits on the wall, beautiful old lamp shades over the bar - they look lovely.
Came here for a quick drink and snack, was welcomed by the friendliest and loveliest staff! The snacks / Thai food here was also very good. Highly recommend
We were a little bit skeptical at first as the combination of thai food and pub sounds new to me, however the mango sticky rice we had was top tier of those we’ve had in the UK! Chef is polite and the bartenders are friendly and have a charming smile. Overall I’m satisfied with the visit :)
Atmosphere was lovely with live music, the drinks were nice and we were served quickly. Bar staff did mix up one of our orders but it was an easy mistake. Only real complaint is that it's a bit expensive!
From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between cozy and chic. The lighting is subtle yet atmospheric, casting a warm glow that makes you feel right at home. It’s charming garden area is a highlight, tucked away from the hustle and bu
Really great pub with a gorgeous real fire. We visited on Boxing Day and enjoyed a delicious curry each. The kitchen were happy to prepare my yellow vegetable curry without chilli as I cannot have anything spicy. The kitchen were also very happy to accommodate vegan options. And the prices are good
Very nice traditional pub ! Good selection of beer on tap, good amount of tables and sitting area. There is outdoor garden - looks good but haven’t used it. There was a fire on which creates nice cosy atmosphere, also ordered some Thai food, really tasty and worth recommending
Smashing little pub (actually quite big) with decent beers on tap 🍻really nice vibe and a spot on smoking area which is covered and has loads of heaters! Always a bonus in winter. Was fairly lively for a Thursday night so can imagine it would be decent on the weekend. Best pub on the street, will be
My go to for a quiet drink in Brighton during the day and a busy friendly pub in the evening with live music and good food. Lovely staff. Plenty of space, inside and out.
