The Caxton Arms - Brighton - Photo album

Only went in for a quick bite and a pint this time. I had a surprisingly delicious burger (the one with extra brisket meat on top, that comes in a perfectly scorched challah bun), and my friend got one of the £10 burgers (there are various daily deals - check them out!). Food was served in a timel
Delicious Sunday lunch. I opted for the beef and asked for it to be as rare as possible which is was and it was delicious! Yummy potatoes, veg and gravy, excellent side of pig in blankets. Only small gripe was the stuffing balls were a bit dry and. No baby change. However this did in no way dampen t
Love this place. It's great for ales, games, food and amazing atmosphere. I usually take my toddler and he is happy playing with the Lego available. Only downside is if you are too close to the toad table, but I guess that's everywhere
Lovely pub with a great outdoor area. They also have a function room, lots of drink options, delicious food including the Sunday roast! Spent many birthday evenings /days here. Service is excellent and the owners very friendly! A hidden gem!
This is my all time favourite pub, staff are brilliant and accomodating, food is great and I always bring my friends here for some lunch, chips are amazing and really nicely priced, one portion is enough to share with 2 or 3 people! Owner is really lovely and clearly makes a point to remember people
This pub has everything going for it. The food, both the standard week menu (burgers, fries, fish and chips, nachos, etc) and the Sunday roast are fantastic. Both menus also cater for dietary requirements and certain allergens such as gluten intolerance. Great selection and prices on drinks. They sh
A favourite for me and my friends, nice atmosphere and the food is good. Three toads tables, darts, bar billiards, and a selection of board games!
Great landlord and staff. Good quality beer, wine and food. Excellent roast dinners . Good idea to have games and books for patrons to use whilst there.
Fabulous Sunday roast, nice beer and wine, friendly staff. And a nice little covered courtyard garden out back.
Am a regular visitor here before Brighton home games, and despite often getting busy the atmosphere and service is always friendly and relaxed. Excellent choice of drinks - ales, lagers, IPA’s, ciders and non-alcoholic choices. Whenever we’ve eaten here the food had been delicious and reasonably pri
Perfect place for sunday lunch. Slightly hidden gem with great service and amazing food. Go hungry as they dont skimp on the portions. Great fun as lego on the table and tons of board games to keep you occupied. We spent a good almost 3 hours here eating, drinking and playing plenty of games
Ate dinner mid week at the Caxton Arms, during our stay in Brighton. Very welcoming bar staff. Nice, warm, cozy pub. It was happy hour so we were able to double up on our drinks! Good selection of wines, beers & spirits. The food menu offered a good choice for vegetarians, vegans & meat eaters & glu
Today we celebrated the day of the Hungarian language with a Hungarian menu. Pubs are not my thing but went anyway and had a great experience ! The food was lovely and great service ! Compliments to the chef. 👍🏻
A great hidden bar / pub, from the friendly locals to the lovely staff this was a great find. The hidden back garden was delightful and gave us a giggle as it felt like a secret.
Jack was brilliant and patient with me and my friend, he was cool and understandable even when we lost a deposit on a game (which was our fault!) Most fun in Brighton, cost wise, for a few mates! Toad in the hole and bar billiards!
Amazing staff and excellent drink selection. They run a happy hour Mon-Thur 5pm-7pm with some good deals. They also have a really nice smoking area out the back with comfortable cushions and proper heaters. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Brighton
One of my "go to" Pubs in Brighton, met some friends here, sat and chatted in a lovely relaxed atmosphere with decent beer at a reasonable price, didn't eat on this occasion but have in the past and have always enjoyed it. Nice and friendly bar staff made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go bac
Fabulous Sunday lunch. What a fabulous pub. It has just about everything you could ever need. Good beer, fabulous food, piles of board games and a great garden. We'll worth a visit. Make sure you book if you're going for Sunday lunch, as it's hugely popular and incredibly good!
