Vas helped arrange Afternoon Tea for 22 rowdy hens. He was lovely, helpful and accommodating throughout the weeks/days leading up. We had the venue to ourselves and Vas let us bring our own prosecco for the added touch. The food was delicious and the cakes were to die for, anything that didn't get eaten Vas popped in a goody bag for us to take away. I would highly recommend Talk of Tea. Thank you Vas

Great little place in Brighton for a lovely afternoon tea. Many choices of tea and the full afternoon tea comes with a yummy sandwich, scone, clotted cream and jam, and a slice of fresh cake. Delish! Very small and cozy, and the patio area would be nice on a warmer day.

We love talk of tea, lots of different teas and cakes to choose from. Lovely and helpful staff. We have returned many times as even my Mum who can be quite fussy loves the toasted sandwiches and cakes. Definitely recommend.

I brought my best friend here for afternoon tea for her birthday. The service was second to none, Marta and Vas saw to our every need. The sandwiches were delicious, the scones delectable and we were almost too stuffed for the brownies, but we powered through. The selection of teas is mind-boggling for such a tiny tea room which has such a delightful atmosphere. And to top it all, the price is beyond competitive, it's a downright bargain for what you get. I will definitely be back to this little treasure trove of tea!

Really love this place... accidentally discovered it a while ago and have been back a couple of times since. Really quirky, great location but tucked away so I can forget i'm in the middle of town! Afternoon tea is delicious and well worth the money. Great selection of sandwiches, create your own, rather than having what they give you which is what often comes with afternoon tea. Will definitely be back when i can think of my next excuse for afternoon tea...

Bought my mum a little green tea pot and Gustav Klimt caddy with some Assam tea. It was the best present and has converted her from Yorkshire tea bags to the good leaf!! Thank you the inspiration and brownie points!

New owner, completely new style. Clean and efficient, replacing 'warm and cosy'. Still the great choice of teas but no longer served loose. The food is home-made. Simple menu. Lovely patio out back. Friendly. I go for the tea and a nice place to relax - especially outside.

Small but lovely tea house in Brighton, nice decoration. There is outdoor seating too. Too big afternoon tea set for 2 persons, I think it could share for 4. There is variety of tea.

First choice of afternoon tea place when my friends visit me in Brighton. Cozy little place with tasty scone (especially their clotted cream).

I arranged afternoon tea with a friend. I'd emailed Miriam beforehand as I was after a vegetarian and gluten free option. When we arrived Miriam was lovely, explaining that the sandwiches hadn't been prepared yet (we were early) and let us know what she had planned for the fillings, giving us an option to change if we wished, but all sounded good to me. There is a big range of teas to choose from and all sounded lovely. The sandwiches were good and scones still lovely and warm. The cost was a winner as a lot of afternoon teas in the area are costly for what you get. Perfect afternoon. Thank you!

Warm and friendly staff, cosy and comfortable place, fairly small, therefore intimate, it feels a bit like being home. There are pages and pages of tea selection and the staff is happy to make recommendations based on your tastes. They are very attentive too and if your order seems a bit off, they'll double check with you. No pressure to consume more and very affordable prices. You can also buy tea, a very good gift idea.

Passing through on our way elsewhere my Good Lady and myself stumbled across this place and decided to have afternoon tea here - nice fresh sandwiches with tea also fresh made followed by scones - a very pleasant cozy place with nice staff immaculately clean and tidy - fairly swift service but a tad on the expensive side - all in all I and the wife were most impressed and will certainly return next time we are in the area
