Never had a bad meal there. Even for a bite at lunch the team are really friendly and the food is good no matter the time of day. Relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend. I've been going for years ☺️
Just superb - service was top notch. BEST quality Sushi I've had in the whole of Brighton and a nice atmosphere, recommend their Volcano roll!!
They make the best Sushi in town. Freshly made and incredibly tasty. Service is excellent and the atmosphere so comforting. You must try their Ginger tea, its to die for!
I've been here many times and in short I highly recommend it. The food and service are never less than than first class. Shame they can't get the yellow fin cheek anymore as it was a real treat. Well done team.

This was our second visit to this small Japanese restaurant. The service is fantastic and the food is made to order and great quality, taste and presentation!
First time in a sushi restaurant. New food experiences which was very much enjoyed. The staff could not have been better. I would most definitely go again and recommend to friends.
Amazing fresh food, lovely staff, good value for money. We will be back again soon!
The bento box is amazing value and tasty and (reasonably) healthy.
The best sushi restaurant in Brighton!
Fresh ingredients. Love the food and will definitely be back :)
I had a few recommendations from friends before and finally had my birthday dinner with family members. This is the best Japanese restaurant in the UK, I've never been to any better place than Sushi Garden Brighton even in London. Reasonable price, very cozy interior, super friendly and attentive staff and lastly, the food is literally amazing. It has everything restaurants should have. We were 10 of us so it was quite a big group but every dish arrived on time and everything was so fresh and piping hot! Strongly recommended.
Went to Sushi Garden for the first time and I'm so impressed with how authentic the place feels.
Very warm and friendly staff. They accomodated our requests to the best of their abilities and the food was just divine.
Coming from an Asian country with an abundance of authentic Japanese food, not a lot of places come close but this place certainly delivered.
Must try- rolling in the sushi
The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. Pork cutlet is crispy and sushi is fresh. I want to visit again. It was more delicious than the sushi I ate in Japan.
The waiters were very polite and provide a quick service. The food was full of flavour and well worth the price. The interior of the restaurant was well presented and the music being played really tied the whole place together to provide a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
If I could give 6 stars I would.
Lunchtime meal and drinks.
This is an excellent restaurant and a must visit, it's like a mini slice of Japan in Brighton.
Made to feel very welcome, not over bearing, professional throughout.
The food is exceptional, the depth of flavours and delicate tastes come together exquisitely. Be that the noodles the sushi or the miso soups, all very tasty.
Very clean throughout.
The value, lunchtime, is very good.
I shall be returning for an evening visit next.
I was looking for a japnese restaurant that served Pork Katsudon and checked their menu via google maps and was disappointed to when we arrived that the did not have Pork Katsudon, they had Pork Katsu which is a very different dish. I ordered the pork katsu hoping my craving would be satisfied but I was still disappointed because the dish is dry despite the katsu sauce served with it. We ordered other dishes: Takoyaki, Chef's Teardrop (salmon lover roll), and Spider Roll. The Takoyaki was nothing special, it tasted like the frozen takoyaki we buy at asian supermarkets. The Chef's teardrop tasted wonderful as I am a salmon lover but I wish it had more rice and was bigger. The winning dish for me is the Spider Roll! The batter and seasoning of the soft shell crab was amazing! We are not locals and this is our first time dining here, and there is a small chance we will come back as they do not serve my favourite dish: Pork Katsudon. Service is amazing, food was served in good time and the staff are very friendly and professional. I loved the atmosphere and decors, felt authentically Japanese. They had spacious toilets for men and women with a baby changing area but not disabled friendly as it was downstairs.
This place is my regular for the last 14 years. Possibly only Japanese restaurant that brings in specialy caught Bluefin Fatty Tuna to let their customers try. Love it as always+
Amazing & fresh sushi in Brighton at very reasonable prices! We really needed to end our trip on a high note and this sushi restaurant really made sure of it. Super friendly and funny server.
Excellent restaurant. We have been coming for years and the food is always delicious. We had their lunch menu option today which was great value.
A delicious and affordable lunch menu, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The sushi was superb, made by a beautiful young chef. I have been here many times and have always been impressed.
The service was prompt and both staff and chef were very polite and friendly. There was a big party going on when we arrived without reservations. After we were seated, the chef came to inform us orders may take up to 45 minutes as they are busy serving the party. We do not mind the wait and happy if they could serve us drinks and appetizers while we wait. They promptly did and mains did not take long too.
Food is very good. Fish and seafood (sushi) was fresh. Presentation was simple. The broth of the udon was flavorful.
