We had passed Street Thai, in The Lanes, many times but never actually eaten there. We finally took friends there yesterday evening and had the best Thai meal ever. The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful not intrusive. I had Tom Kha Gai soup, which was so tasty, hot and beautifully blended spices made it a total delight. Chicken Mussaman Curry to follow, well presented on spotless white dishes with a perfect flavour, creamy and spicy, exquisite. The bill was about £20 per head which was excellent value. We will definitely be back to this little piece of Thailand and I can't wait.

Fab somtam and satay as always, a bit of Christmas spice! Always a must to visit whenever we're in Brighton.

Went for the £10 2 course lunch yesterday. I've just got back from Thailand and the food was just as amazing as over there. Really enjoyed it. The place has a lovely, modern vibe and I will definitely go back and staff were very helpful.

We had a fab lunch yesterday, of yellow prawn curry, pad thai green tea cheesecake, and coconut juice. Fast service, lovely and sunny up on the terrace. Thankyou. We are always coming back time after time. One of our fav restaurants. Xx

We were hungry after having an early morning start and came across Street Thai while exploring the lanes of Brighton. We ordered the two course meal. Both the soup and the prawn yellow curry served with a helping of rice were tasty. A good meal with pleasant wait staff too.

We usually drive to Brighton to eat Thai food at this restaurant. Our favourites are the red and green Thai curry with jasmine rice. The last time I also tried the famous Thai dessert , sticky rice with mango and coconut cream. This one was good but could be better. But the overall experience was great.

visited last friday i.e. 18/03/2016... a proper thai restaurant.. with thai props used to decorate the interiors giving the customers a thai feel.
The proper thai delicacies are as usual very coconutty.I loved the leechi juice.. n the veg starters .. more than the main course.had the sticky rice first time here ...
The stuffs were real nice n friendly to us.

Flavour-packed, characterful and great folks - and they carry the original sriracha (rooster sauce all the way, not this flying goose imposter). I came in for a quick bite to eat before an event, and the staff who welcomed me and took my order went out of her way to make good, quick recommendations and sort my bill right when she saw I'd finished (thank you!). Everything was fresh and perfectly balanced, reasonable prices and just a lovely place.

Nice place. Vibrant and busy. Food is lovely and there's a great degree of choice. The staff were very busy so service was a little slow.....but friendly nonetheless.

A very pleasant experience. The staff is really kind and helpful and the dishes are we'll prepared. There's also a roof terrace.

We had from the set menu and it didn't disappoint. Great food. Shame the staff weren't a little more attentive as we waited for some time for someone to take out order and for us to pay.

Sunday lunch for two. Excellent Thai restaurant with a wide choice of authentic dishes. All our food was fantastic beautifully cooked and presented. All the staff we met were very polite and efficient. £65 for two starters two of the more expensive mains one dessert two cocktails and one large Chang beer very reasonable in our opinion. Highly recommended.

The plates we ordered were absolutely delicious, no complaints. Staff is kind and quick on their feet, and there are many options for those who prefer less spicy food. The place is much nicer on the inside than the outside, which is why I’ve given this place 4 stars. The interior could have a nicer finish, but the food is really good!

Went here for dinner with my husband. The restaurant is lovely, clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Waiting staff were very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. We ordered from the set menu and found the food very tasty. The green tea cheesecake was delicious 😁 I would eat here again if I was in Brighton

Good food they have a set menu for 12.50 of 2 dishes and with an added dessert for 14 pound if I recall correctly. I went out with 2 other friends and the bill was around 67 pounds, we all ordered drinks (non alcoholic although cocktails were on the menu), starters, mains and a dessert each. The pad Tai was good and so was the coconut curry although it was a bit on the sweet side, the Duck soup was very good and the creme caramel was amazing. I personally was not a fan of the sweet coconut sticky rice but both my friends enjoyed it. P.S one of our friends is from Thailand and said it was good but the food was on the sweeter side.

Been here a few times, always delicious food. Ordered from lunch menu (larger menu available). Had jasmine tea, ordered pot each and we did drink them but 1 pot would do 2, I learnt that if you leave the lid aslant that means you would like a top up of hot water, cos my husband did it to let his cool down 🙂 recommend the cheesecake so leave room 😁

Great food, great staff, very busy. It was the perfect place to bring a toddler for an early midweek sitting. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly with our child which meant my husband and I could enjoy our delicious Thai food in relative peace. Would definitely go back and have recommended it to friends and family since returning to London. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Brighton.

Went to Street Thai Brighton today for the 2 course special lunch menu during my lunch break. Food was fantastic and service very good. Waiting staff very friendly. Will definitely be going back again to try some dishes off the normal menu when I will have more time. .

Great quality Thai food that is delivered quickly to the table, whilst still tasting fantastic, all at a reasonable price. Recommended for those who want something quick and enjoy Thai food. The staff checked up to make sure the food was to our standard a few minutes into the meal, whilst making sure we had enough to drink. Would eat there again.

I had dinner on Saturday 27th July with a party of 6 on the terrace and I spent around 3 hours at this location. Could not vote 5 stars as this place was lacking of many elements like: (nobody came to check up if everything was ok with out meals; pudding menu was not offered after our main; waiter did not had the best customer service skills; we were not greeted in a very welcomed way and atmosphere was very “here is your food” and now next customer please). Food wise I could not have find any fault whatsoever. Quality, serving presentation and taste were high standard and the speed of the service was excellent. Price wise is average and similar to many other thais in town. An ideal place for a romantic dinner date, not pretentious, and definitely quite unique secluded location. Overall, it was nice but this was the first and last time for me to have been there as I would prefer the combo of service/food that can be found by many others Thai restaurants in town.
