Wonderful place! Excellent coffee, outstanding ham & gruyere roll and exquisite chocolate chip pastry. The background music was just my "cup of tea" lol and to top it all the toilets are the best I've used in Brighton. How about that! Shall definitely revisit when in Brighton again which will be too long!
At the ripe old age of 47, I hate to guess how many million cups of coffee I’ve had. Including some bloody good stuff (used to live in Papua New Guinea). But I choose my words very carefully when I say I’ve just had a flat white of their house blend - and, all hyperbole aside, it is the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted. I’ve just ordered one of their gourmet blends that’s made in its own little chemistry set: Ecuadorean Vitalino Marino. They forewarn you it takes 15 minutes to prepare, and I am Drooling at the prospect. At £2.80 for a sit in flat white, in an establishment with a charming ambience and even more charming - and well informed - staff, it’s a steal. Even the totemic one I’m about to imbibe is less than three guineas. Indescribably joyous that I happened to chance upon this emporium of caffeine based wonders.
Would it be possible for me to marry your coffee shop, please? Failing that, could you tell everyone that you don't have any vegan iced flat whites - but secretly you do and they're all for me? :-D <3 Honestly, it's no trouble. 😍

Small Batch Coffee Roasters... go! I mean now if you haven’t. I had the Flat White and it was rich with flavours of chocolate and melon, perfect for the start of the day specially when paired with the Mushroom Breakfast Bun (scrumptious).
100% one of my favourite coffee shops in Brighton. Excellent staff and delicious food - coffee made with care. They have a roof top terrace garden giving them 3 floors of space plus an outside road seating. Do it!

Fabulous cappuccino and a good priced avo toast. Came back twice during a short jaunt to Brighton - in a city full of lovely cafes this really says something!

Great latte and a really nice Croissant. Lovely atmosphere and really nice and professional staff. I also saw them go and hand a free coffee to a member of the street community sat opposite, which showed great community spirit.
Nice staff but incredibly slow, don't go if you're in a rush. Really delicious coffees. Bit expensive bit worth it. Good location but low on ambiance and the high seating means it's not that comfortable. Good seating out the front if you want to watch the world go by though
Excellent coffee (definitely the best we’ve found in Brighton so far) and delicious takeaway sandwiches. Good vibes from staff and fellow customers. This place will definitely be my local coffee spot while I’m here! Looking forward to trying some cakes and other treats there too.
Great coffee as we all know, service is good seating is well laid out however it can sometimes be a little hard to find a spot to rest as it is often very busy. Lovely interior details. The bites are well made and taste great and the staff have a wonderful blend and knowledge of coffee.

Great little coffee place that I keep going back to every time I come to Brighton, you always know that the product will be of he highest quality and that your drink will made with attention and care. Lots of lovely things to eat and buy to take home with you to make your own drinkies too! On top of that it's within spitting distance of some great lunch spots and not too far from the beach!!

Excellent coffee, chosen, roasted and prepared with care. The savouries are limited, but pretty nice, and the cakes are good too. Nothing comfier than a padded bar stool to sit on, so couldn't be described as cosy, but a buzzing place with, as people have said, seats facing the huge front window, excellent for people-watching. Great for buying their own beans as well - I don't buy anything else.
Friendly professional staff, good choice of cakes etc...but despite a number of occasions, not just here but elsewhere in the city where small batch coffee is served, I don't rate their coffee. I like the concept, the company ethos but not the coffee. Sorry Small Batch but I rate your cafe 4* but I would only give your coffee 1*.

Really sad to see the coffee shop in the current situation. Its a lovely shop and it is usually buzzing with people. We are thankful we can still get our coffee beans and take away coffee. The staff are always on top form and I hope things return to normal for you guys soon. Thanks for keeping up the good spirits
The closet Small Batch coffee shop to me is Seven Dials Brighton, which is a great location but slightly cramped at rush hour (+ no toilets or wifi).
The first coffee I had there was literally the best I have ever tasted. I could taste something different and distinct that has pulled me back ever since.
The staff are friendly and willing to chat. Good place, AMAZING coffee.
Close to perfect; filter coffee, free refills and great service. I want to spend all day here!
