Just pop in for a drink. Very friendly service, cool staff and I like the ambience. Even though not much choice of drinks but who care when you enjoy good time with friends.
I was visiting Brighton for the day and wanted to find a friendly, welcoming place where I could have fish and chips and do a bit of work. The Pump House is delightful. A lovely old building and a very warm welcome, both from the bar staff and some of the regulars. The food was delicious and I could have sat there all afternoon looking of the bow windows. A lovely experience and I wish I lived closer.
What an amazing breakfast experience! It was 9.75 for this full plate of food and everything was cooked to perfection! Paired with a Bloody Mary, this was a perfect way to start a vacation Saturday morning! If anyone I know is coming to Brighton, I’ll be sure to recommend Pump House!
Fire time dinning, second time drinking. Great little pub, nice and cosy feel. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Table service via QR code, nice and easy.
Food came out pretty quick, fresh and hot! Pulled beef bricsket + chips and mac & cheese with garlic bread. Banging!
If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit 😎
The only negative is that the toilets need some TLC - clean, just need some attention.
A wonderful find after a long day! This pub has plenty of character and lovely decor. The menu is very comprehensive lots of drinks wine and gin to choose from. They have a sandwich menu as well as normal pub grub. The mains things that stood out was the atmosphere was very relaxed and me and m dog were very welcomed. A big thank you to Peter the bartender. He made us very welcome 🙂. I would recommen this to anyone looking for a drink and food. A date or just catching up with friends would be great here.
We love the Pump House as they are always friendly and welcoming, and with great food. We booked a table in advance and were given the one with the best position in the window despite being only 2 people and table big enough for 4. The pies were amazing, as always.
We had a fantastic meal at this place. Good wholesome tasty food. Did not disappoint.
It’s been 13years visit here. Still food is good and nice staffs!! I really missed the Sunday roast of them. It is the first place i come as soon as i arrived at brighton from South Korea.But it is super popular, it is difficult if you late. I arrived 4pm and sadly it was sold out. But burger was so nice.
Brilliant, was a shame they had no roast lamb or beef, but everyone seems to be suffering supply issues nowadays, the roast pork was cooked to perfection though and the veg was lovely. The waitress was very keen and attentive and didn't even roll her eyes when it came to checking that the dessert was vegan for me (im lactose intolerant) she did it with a smile, checked her tablet and then went to the kitchen to make sure it was ok.
Very welcoming and a popular pub with a good choice of gins and drinks on draught. We didn't stay for a meal as it was quite early but many tables had been reserved for dinner at 7.
I made a booking for 20 ppl for a leaving do, i didnt know we would get our own room with its our bar and bar staff it was a really nice suprise. Lorna was wonderful, 10/10 for Lorna as well as everything else. The food was delicious everyone enjoyed. Thank you for having us
This pub was a real experience, the staff was so nice and the food tasty, perfect for hungry tourist like us. We tried the fish and chips and some chicken dish. Great atmosphere! Hoghly recommend it!
Beautiful atmosphere, very lively, loved it. Will eat there next time I go as it all looked delicious but I had dinner plans
