We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience and had a good dinner as good as having it in India .....real indian hands having the same magical flavours.......pls do visit the place and let your taste bud dance.....
This is the best place absolutely for indians and for everyone if you want to try something delicious and the best is dosa. Staff are friendly and polite and working in a fun way that you will be entertained well.
An absolute jewel in the crown moment. An understatedly decorated interior, yet a place which far exceeds one's expectations of well cooked, beautifully presented South Indian cuisine at it's very finest. I would suggest that newbies try out any/all of the dishes on the starter menu..mains are substantial and extremely tasty. There is a good selection to choose from on the wine and beer options. A very relaxing and healthily nourishing space in the up and coming London Road area. Thoroughly recommended.
Food satisfies not only taste buds but soul as well.
Recommend Lamb Sukka and Nawabi chicken with kerala style Paratha (although paratha is not in the menu but If you ask, chef considers your request)
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Joyful smiles from excellent & hospitable staffs!! The service is unmatched. Delicious dishes, amazing presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. Being an International student from India, I definitely have to mention that this restaurant fulfilled the epitome of tastes I have been searching for a long time. I would like to come back here again and again. Highly recommended!!
Best curry I've had in ages, the naan bread was amazing
Good range of options on the menu. Food is expertly cooked and served attentively with little fuss or pretention.
My wife and I visited the Eastern Eye again this evening, with some friends. Once again the food was utterly superb - the best Indian food in Brighton - BY FAR. Every dish is so different to what is served elsewhere as Indian food. The service is so friendly and polite but professional all the while. The Eastern Eye may not look much from the outside, nor be in the best part of Brighton, but try this place once and you won't want to go anywhere else afterwards.
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wine, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Green spicy chicken curry is my current favorite
Great service and delicious food. As an Indian I liked their food more than the Indian summer.
The Naan were as soft as they should be and the gravy was prepared well. Even the Masala Dosa was as good as it gets. Overall a great evening with exactly the kind of food we were expecting.
