We went with a suspicious view given its location in tourist area and slightly pricey offering. However I got to say the food was superb. We order 9 dishes between 3 of us, starting with duck liver pate, seafood chowder and scallops all 3 of them were delicious. The mains we shared between us seafood pasta, folded pizza and pan fried seabass, again beautifully cooked with fairly generous portion of seafood. The highlight was certainly the tiramisu it was made with slightly different twist with some ice cream on top. Really nice food. The bill did come to over £100 but we did also order couple of wines on the side as well.

I am pleased to have worked with such wonderful and accommodation staff as yours. Special thanks to Ingrid, who was very reassuring down to the slightest detail before the event and during the evening she was there to make sure we kept our timings and that the all guests were happy including myself. In addition, I did not expect the staff to help me and my team decorate the place before the guests arrived. However they gladly set up all the inflatable Hawaiian props, spread the confetti, light our coconut candles and decorated the tables with the fairly lights etc.
It was a pleasure to work with you, from planning the event until the very end. The EF staff from all around the world were ever so grateful and happy to have been to your restaurant.

Myself, my daughter and three of her friends enjoyed an excellent lunch here in mid-July 2016. Very good menu, food, service and location (away from the building work on the seafront and close to the i360) and reasonable prices. Staff were lovely, very friendly and nice open deck area practically on the beach. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend to others.
We only had drinks on a quiet afternoon on a weekday in October. We were slightly reluctant to go in because the first impression is of a rather posh place. However, the staff was very friendly and welcomed us in our autumn-walk-clothing as if we were regulars. My child spilled a glass of soda on the table/floor and the waiters were very fast in helping out and without asking gave us a new glass. We have no experience with the food.
The view/location is stunning, beautiful, showing the sea, the beach, the boulevard/skyline and the Brighton i360. We advise a visit.

The service was first class outstanding actually, made myself and my niece feel realty welcome. The view was great, and good to have a cold beer over looking the sea. Only gripe. Went during lunch and would like to have more of a veggie option. Had a meaty pizza anyway but food was good

We had our wedding reception here a few days ago and were 100% satisfied with the experience. Alex helped us to plan our perfect day with our own decorations and personal touches and then she and her team looked after us and our guests superbly on the day. Great food (BBQ Buffet), good bar options (they got Harvey's in for my dad!) and just an ideal setting for the event. Thanks and well done, we'll be back!
We had a fantastic night, the Alfresco team were amazing from the start. Helping us with balloons and banners, very attentive and efficient. Constantly clearing glasses and plates, right through to the very end, making sure we had gathered up all our bit and bobs!! Its was the perfect venue for us, everyone enjoyed the food, the whole evening was a complete success. I would have no hesitation to recommend Alfresco.

We took our 9 and 12 year old daughters on a Sunday afternoon and found the service, food and cleanliness excellent. The staff were friendly with a smile.and the whole experience very fulfilling. All of our courses were faultless. I have eaten in many different types and grades of restaurant and willingly add Al fresco to my top ten.
Went for our anniversary dinner, amazing food, amazing wine and amazing service we will be back next year and the tiramisu was to die for!
We got married at AlFresco last week. Can not recommend highly enough. We had the ceremony and the party at the venue and it couldn't have been better. The staff were brilliant, the food excellent and plentiful and overall value was superb. The view of the seafront is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxed. If you are looking to get married in Brighton then I can't recommend Al Fresco highly enough.
I'd start off with 4 stars for good food. Its a bit pricey but no more than half the restaurants in Brighton, so we are down to 3 stars. Its a cold autumn Monday, got of work early and I'm in a stingy mood. Somehow the smiling attentive waiter put me in the perfect spot looking out to sea. Ordered house wine. The charming waiter returns and I take in the relaxed atmosphere. OK Alfresco have a star back. All the other tables are happy and quietly chatting. I thought it was a fluke that the warm sun and glowing sky made me feel like I was on a romantic ship sailing out to sea into a beautiful sun set. But the 2nd and 3rd time I also walk out of there feeling like I'd had a romantic holiday. Maybe it was the company or the outstanding waiter but there are magic places in Brighton if you look. Am I really limited to 5 stars?
The only regret I have about eating here is not having taken pictures of the amazing food. The monkfish was cooked to absolute perfection and we had the most romantic evening. If you seek to treat someone special to great food and wine, this is the place to go.
Hidden gem in Brighton. Hands down one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. Service is 5 star, attentive and friendly. Food is absolutely mouthwatering seafood is cooked to perfection as is the meat. Desserts and coffee are just what you should expect from an Italian.....exemplary. Will definitely be eating here again.
For starters, Alfresco has to have the best location in Brighton for dining. The view over the beach,out to sea is spectacular. Down to the service and food. I have visited the restaurant several times and each time the food and service has been very good. Dining outside on a sunny day is a pleasure. I love their menu, especially the seafood. Great pizzas too.
I brought my parents down to Brighton to celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary - we had the i360 booked up as well as a tour on the open top bus. Due to problems with the i360 and duff service from their staff, we ended up not doing either thing. We did have a table booked at Alfresco at the end of the day, and thank goodness we did! We were seated at a table offering lovely views. The staff were attentive, engaging and friendly, especially to my two young daughters. We had a three course meal which was excellent in every way - everyone left full and cheered up! We dined whilst watching the sun go down - a perfect end to the day. Thank you Alfresco.
Absolutely incredible service: friendly and unpretentious, in addition to being possibly the least tacky place in Brighton I've ever been. The food was brilliant - as good as any I've ever had in Italy - with very generous portions at a very reasonable price. The views are practically second-to-none for Brighton. It did get really warm in the restaurant (weird for Britain, right!?) but the staff will pull the blinds if you ask.

Went there for somebody's leaving do. Very nice. Food nibbles tasty and great outlook to the sea. Outside seating areas. Want to have a private party? then check this place out. Also has nice restaurant upstairs.
