This place is outstanding, they consistently serve delicious Greek food to the highest standard. Classic authentic dishes like Spanakopita, Fakes and Chicken Lemonado delight. There are great veggie dishes and home-cooked desserts and it’s all healthy and unwaveringly tasty. Way above average.
Not the friendliest place no idea why perhaps it was the Monday feeling. However the food made up for that and was enjoyable. Within an indoor market so quite basic but the prices reflect that so overall I will come again and hope for a nicer welcome and not to have to wipe my own table
Lovely Food Frappe was authentic and Very Reasonable Cost And we were speaking to The Owner lovely lady Thanks For Great Greek Food Sarah and Kevin Today 22/09/2023
Absolutely love the food at Kouzina. Simple surroundings at the Open Market, have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend for lunch, great authentic plate of Greek Food cooked with love. Such a good price too!
Absolutely amazing food, so delicious. And proper mint tea! Great prices, lovely spot for people-watching. A new favourite.
Kouzina is one of the best lunch spots in Brighton. The food is delicious, great value and the service is always lovely. The mezze plate (meat or veg) is delicious - probably the best £6 you can spend in Brighton.
We’d been meaning to eat at the Open Market for a little while and Kouzina didn’t disappoint. Succulent meat balls, indulgent aubergine, rich tomatoes sauce and fresh salad with lots of zest. A real gem, filling portion and so reasonably priced, with delightful staff too.
I really enjoyed my lunch there. Great spanakopita and the yogurt is absolutely fantastic. Service is very friendly and I really enjoyed the Greek music!
Brilliant array of food and drinks. Always bustling with people. One of the Open Market’s fantastic world food eateries
Simply can’t beat the food here. In my top 3 places to eat in Brighton with no questions asked. When it comes to Greek food in England the first few things that comes to mind are souvlaki and gyros. Don’t get me wrong they are both delicious dishes but in my opinion nothing beats the more traditiona
We ordered so much but every single dish was outstanding.
We ordered the next salad plate, chicken and peppers, stuffed aubergine and yahni (a vegetarian casserole).
The portions were big. We didn’t need to order so much.
We still found room for their delicious baklava and warm custard pastry.
I come from Greece and it was a great relief. Finally quality food , good portion and price , in comparison with the tiny portions and overexpensive meals in other restaurants . Also I tried only one meal for now but it was good and as it is supposed to be aslo in Greece . I had tried an another (
Had lunch here. Great atmosphere and you couldn't find more authentic Greek cuisine if you tried. Very reasonable price that makes it cheaper than a fast food outlet. Great service.
Kouzina is far and away the best Greek food you will get in central Brighton. It's healthy, tasty, authentic and consistent. If you want a hearty meal cooked with love, go no further
We first visited Kouzina when holidaying in Brighton in 2022 and the food was so good, we made a point of returning in 2023. We had a vegetarian Spanakopita (delicious) served with salad and a vegan stuffed peppers, also with salad and also delicious. The food has an authentic Greek ‘home cooked’ ta
Love the food here. All fresh and sooooo yummy.
Kouzina is tucked into the corner in the open market which has a nice hustle and bustle to it. The kitchen is small and seems like a family run business. The staff are friendly. Help yourself to water and cutlery. The food is really tasty here. I get a Spana Kopita (feta and spinach pie) with the op
Enjoyed the very good food, and nice to sit and people watch.
