We have been in Brighton a few day and I wanted to have our first real afternoon tea here. Today we got to and it did. It disappoint. Even gluten free options! Your scones taste like our biscuits and they were yummy! Thank you!

Lovely tea shop. Very busy, but not surprised. Great pot of Earl Grey made with leaves, and a crab and prawn sandwich fit for a king. Will be back.

What a perfect place to eat. Glorious food, fabulous service and a nice buzz. It's a long time since i had food of that standard and quality, all made in the tiniest kitchen. Can highly recommend

This is always on our list to do when we visit Brighton In fact it's worth the drive to Brighton from Portsmouth just for the food and service

Loved it. Difficult in this world of "skinny lahhte's, organic peace crisps and houmous" to find somewhere that'll just do me a simple egg on toast and a cup of tea Smashing !!

quintessentially English tea shop to enjoy a cream tea and more. Warm scones served with thick clotted cream and delicious jam. We also had their English tea which came with a choice of a sandwich. Service is excellent, welcoming and efficient. Would suggest reservations as the place can get busy.

We stopped by to have tea and dessert. I had a Darjeeling tea with a spiced Earl Grey cake which was absolutely delicious. The staff are so nice and welcoming - strongly recommend! I love these British tea rooms that keep culture and tradition alive.

We have been traveling throughout England for the past two weeks and most days have enjoyed stopping for cream tea. This was our second to last cream tea of the trip and it was the best by far. The person I was traveling with has had hundreds of cream teas and said this was one of the best he has ever experienced! The atmosphere of the tea room is perfect. Soft big band music plays and knickknacks are about. The server was personable, helpful, and her humour was welcoming. The scone was exquisite!! Warm, fluffy, soft, a good ratio of sultanas, and very tasty. They were very generous with the cream and jam too! We highly HIGHLY recommend this place. It was an unbelievably good experience!!

Quite a cute little tea shop. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The scones were very nice as was the tea and sandwiches. The cake was OK not the best I have ever had. But we really enjoyed visiting and having afternoon tea! We would probably visit again.

Love this place. Stopped for a non fussy lunch and had some good food & great service. Also, tea came in a teapot, so more than one cup 👍 Loved the background music too.

Happened to stumble across this beautiful tea shop on the most windy and rainy day I have ever seen in my life, the best hot chocolate, the best cheese scone and some of the best service ever! It was very much calming and reduced high anxiety I had had about something else!

Came here with my friend to have a well deserved catch up over afternoon tea on 30/9 and LOVED it! The service was super friendly and we never felt rushed, even though we took an age to order and leave due to chatting! I am a coeliac, and was reassured from the moment I emailed to book the table. They are very aware of cross contamination with gluten and do a great job despite the small size! Wish other establishments would take note! I had a GF scone and it was warm and delicious with a beautiful pot of Assam tea. Loved the experience and will be back! Thank you!

Had afternoon tea for the first time ever for my birthday. This place was somewhat hard to find as it was located in a narrow road in the Lanes. Staff were extremely friendly and the service was fast. Food was also delicious and the prices were great too. It's incredibly hard to come by a café/restaurant that sells affordable afternoon tea, so I'm glad I found out about this place. I'm also glad that I booked a table in advance as there are very few tables and pretty much all of them were booked when I arrived. Overall, had a fantastic time and would surely return if I'm ever in Brighton again.

Have been in a few times on trips to Brighton. Not a large place, so you need to get there early. It gets very busy as the food and service are great and it has a lovely friendly atmosphere.
