We couldn't ask for a better dinning experience here at Murmur!! The flavour is great, I wish the rest of the UK fish & chips taste as good as the crispy cod in Murmur's tacos. The service is excellent. The place give out such chill vibe. Definitely reckon this restaurant.
Nice 'meaty' oysters and a good selection of starters. The chef was kind enough to do a custom white seafood tagliatelle which was delicious. Lovely service with a friendly and attentive waitress. Would happily return!

I honestly couldn't write a post good enough for Murmur! You should eat here, period!
The staff was wonderful. Clemont was a great host and helpful to every guest that I saw arrive. Chef Micheal made some amazing food that I will remember for a long time.
The Lobster Crockett was top notch and a perfect starter. The waitress was lovely and recommended the special "Skate Wing" which I had never heard of. I was delighted to try something new and it was amazing. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked, without being an over fishy tasting fish. And desert was absolutely the best. Hot chocolate that was so rich in flavor and Sticky Toffee pudding that was an absolutely heavenly peice of perfection.
My picky eater of a daughter said it was the best pasta she has even had!
If you want a nice dining experience on the sea, eat here!
Had a nice lunch here after doing the i360 in the morning - just a short walk away. We had lobster croquettes for starters which was delicious, then I chose a whole Brill from the specials board. It was cooked well - lovely and tender. If you like seafood, you would love this place.
The restaurant was busy so I'd certainly recomend booking in advance, although I think the seating outside is used for walk-ins. Waitress was friendly with a good sense of humour even though there was clearly a lot going on. Also expect a leisurely sea-front dining experience rather than a quick meal.
1) Beautiful setting on the beachfront. PLUS you can see the old derelict pier.
2) Staff are really friendly and make good recommendations (not just to get you to spend more!)
3) The food was delicious!
Bonus point - as you can see the wine was really chilled which I love!

One of my favourite restaurants in Brighton! Prices are on the higher end but in my opinion it’s worth it. Excellent food accompanied with beautiful views over the beach. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal there and always look forward to visiting
Nice little restaurant, two couples catching up...we felt quite lucky to be in such a small establishment on a Saturday evening. Staff were friendly and attentive, taking our coats when we arrived to hang up for us. Starters were very nice, arrincini yummy. Three of us had steak from the specials... Steak was cooked to our liking and a good cut, although bone marrow mash leaves ALOT to be desired...we couldn't eat it and all agreed it tasted almost fishy, which did not compliment our meal. We were told it was a VERY unusual flavour and were even brought the bone marrow to our table to try after we mentioned the "fishy" taste. It was this for sure. We all said the staff should make customers aware of the unusual strong flavour. We were given complimentary hot drinks which was nice.
Great fish menu and nice service. The view is great. Preparing took a while but the taste was worth it.

Had an excellent lunch on the seafront with a gin and tonic, would recommend to anything that likes seafood
What a wonderful evening at one of the best restaurants I've been to in Brighton. Warm and welcoming interior matched by the care of the manager Erwan and mixologist Daniele. Excellent food on a small but perfectly executed menu, hats off to the chefs. Lovely wine list to boot, a new favourite for sure!
This place is so beautiful food was top drawer
Rest of us had Fish and I had veggie
Beautifully cooked presented and such effort made with the veggie ( amazing) Thank you so much
Exciting and casual
Murmur is the sister of 64 degrees and it shows
It’s quite an affordable option with an incomparable view of the sea
If you are on a budget go for the lunch menu so you get an idea of what the food is like
Service is great
We went to Murmur last night. The sea front setting was gorgeous, the food was incredible and the service was excellent. I don’t usually like much seafood but this was out of this world. Thoroughly recommend!
Delicious food and wine down on Brighton seafront... Fish tacos were delectable, they just ran out of lobster croquettes but the table next to ours had them and they looked amazing... Beautiful roast cod and crushed potatoes and the mussels in spicy sauce were a big hit.. no room for pudding but they sounded great!!
Fantastic restaurant. Food was faultless, great wine list, service was outstanding. Great attention to detail for young kids with plastics cups and cutlery provided and vegetable sticks for kids.
Very very good
Exquisite food that is beautifully presented while at the same time the flavours are expertly combined. The girls serving the food had such a natural warmth about them and described the food with a genuine smile on their face. You knew they had tasted the meals they were describing. I can't go to Brighton without visiting this gem. This place should have a Michelin star. I'm blown away.
Fabulous food and very friendly and helpful service for lunch today. The monkfish with artichoke purée and shavings was stunning. Highly recommended
