We've had this place on our radar to try their Sunday Lunch for at least four years. Finally received an invitation 👌.
Certainly ticked all my boxes. Excellent service and an equally excellent choice of meals on offer. I had the pork belly, which was simply mouth wateringly good. Finished off my other half's beef, so I can vouch for that as well. The only negative was being too stuffed to try a pudding. 😉
Lovely experience here. I enjoyed some food and a drink while waiting for the train. Nice hidden gem with fresh food too and plenty of drinks also to choose from.
All reasonably priced also, and offer specials on the day.
Lovely owners and people who work there, there's a lot more space inside and a good amount of seating area. You can also sit outside, which is nice, especially with this current weather.
I will be back here again!

Spent a Sunday afternoon here with a group of friends. Food was fantastic, service was amazing, friendly, attentive, and funny. This place is a hidden gem and has one of the best Sunday roasts in Brighton. We drank a lot of red wine!
Just moved to the area and this is always our local of choice. The food and wine is gorgeous and the service is friendly. We had the roast today - amazing. The pear sorbet for dessert was probably some of the nicest sorbet I’ve ever had!
Had the most wonderful evening and food here. Amazing food, service and drinks! Such a lovely atmosphere with a really lovely vibe and roaring fire. The landlord takes particular care of his beers which are always top quality. Literally my favourite place in Brighton - I would thoroughly recommend for all to try.
We had a really fabulous Easter Sunday roast at The Station Hotel pub in Preston Park. The food was amazing, as always, and the friendliness of all the staff makes it a great pub to go to!
The are a fair few dire pubs north of Brighton centre, very happily The Station Hotel bucks the local trend, warm staff, welcoming punters, terrific food and a general good vibe. A short menu highlights pub favourites and the thick slab of sirloin was cooked well. We took it with a bottle of Rioja, I would have liked a reserva instead of the offered crianza but am nitpicking now. I'll definitely be back to try the Sunday roast!
This is a proper pub, always very welcoming, they have an open fire crackling away on cold winters days. the Harvey's is always fabulous whats not to like
I have to say what a lovely old pub, with amazing polite helpful staff, and the most amazing food, just fantastic and faultless. This is one of the top 5 roast dinners I’ve ever tasted. Thank you for a great afternoon, we’d highly recommend this place to everyone.
Truly lovely food. No wonder people rave about it. Staff couldn't do enough for us. So kind and friendly.
