Another lovely stay at the old swan. Beds so comfy. Breakfast delicious and staff amazing. We came back for my mum's birthday and found a card and chocs waiting for her in the room. So kind. Mum enjoyed it just as much as we did. Will be back soon. Thank you Angela and Stewart and all the lovely s
Old fashioned town pub, nice chilled atmosphere with a good selection of drinks. Darts and pool table as well, so a good pub to visit and they are always polite as well!
Stayed here while sailing at Brightlingsea Sailing Club for the weekend. Good location, less than 10 mins walk from the club. Friendly staff and manager, basic but comfortable rooms, and a decent breakfast. Good value, especially for single occupancy rooms. Will stay here again if we come back to Br
Really nice little pub with a friendly bar maid, comfortable pub feel, Guinness on draught, and a pool table. Wish it did food, but seems not.
Good beer and ale selection. I normally go with a friend who lives in Brightlingsea and he knows everyone in there. They are a friendly bunch. Good selection of pub games including pool and darts and often have live bands.
Excellent place to stay. All the staff are lovely. The breakfast was delicious. Place is full of character. Only able to stay 1 night but recommend. Location great. Will return

Ange and Stuart know how to run a pub! I don't go out much now but my old mucker Neil Turner and I used to spend way too much time in here. Adnams on tap including the amazing Ghost Ship.
