Yet another great visit. We love our local pub. The staff are lovely, the service is fab & the food is always top notch too. Great value for money & we Highly recommend! The dog loves to come with us too & he always gets fussed. The best pub about.

The food could be better - peas and chips didn’t seem freshly cooked. Also, it would be better if the staff prompt for the loyalty stamp before taking payment as it can’t be done afterwards.
Our second visit in the last six months because we enjoyed our first visit in May. The food was very nice, although we did expect to have more than the two, basic, vegetables to accompany the meat - even half a tomato would have been acceptable. The food was a little lacking quality this visit, steak was tough, the belly pork was more like rashers of bacon, hot deserts were cold, I would say the main chef was probably off today which is ok, but they need to have a better stand by chef. Normally very nice!
Really enjoyed the food. It was tasty and sizzling hot (just as I like it) which is more than can be said for many places serving food. If I had a criticism, it would be that there was only one hand pulled ale available. That's a personal observation, but there was nothing wrong with the ale I had
Really nice friendly place the staff are plight and helpful. Service is quick.And the food is just as nice. Large portions. And the desert was big enough for 2😊 and good value for money. plenty car parking spaces. 👍
