We booked to stay on a Sat night after a wedding locally. Website looked good but sometimes in the flesh things are not as good. This is definitely not true of The Black Horse and Bert's Rooms. Such a friendly welcome, very accommodating as we arrived earlier than check in and shown to a very lovel

Everything was organised and we had the best day. Food was amazing and the bridal suote-deluxe room was stunning! We cannot wait to return for pur 1st anniversary.
Sited on a fairly quiet road, we used their function room for a wake, food was excellent and the staff went above any expectations
Lovely pub, great place to eat and drink. Staff were friendly and attentive. Have the steak pie, it was one of the best I've ever had.
If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Clifton, look no further, this fantastic ,family run B&B, restaurant and pub is very charming with great service. We had a fantastic room with a gorgeous free standing bath, it was the perfect, romantic get away, I would highly recommend. 10/10

We had our wedding here the week before Christmas. The team were amazing on the day and Lydia, the wedding organiser was an absolute treasure from the minute we met her months before. She did everything we asked of her and made the rooms look stunning on the day. Nothing was too much trouble for her

Recently attended a reception here following a funeral. The quality of the food was exceptional, great service and relaxing sitting out in the courtyard in the sunshine. I can see that this would be a lovely venue for all kinds of private functions and gatherings.
I am not sure if I should leave a review of this place as I didn't get to eat or drink here. We were hoping to eat here but because they were catering for a wedding party unfortunately the kitchen couldn't take any more food orders.

We stayed over and had evening meal for valentines. The Room was amazing. The food was lovely and we had the best service. Could not find fault with the staff. They were outstanding.
Cute little place for an intimate wedding reception hosted by a friend. Not a place you'd stumble across, but lovely for what it was. Great breakfast the following morning, but thought it was a bit pricy at nearly £100 for the night.
